I think Slumdog Millionaire has a good shot at winning best picture, Danny Boyle for directing also. Rourke or Penn should pick up best actor, and i think Anne Hathaway and Kate Winslet will both get awards in their respectful categories. Wall-E for best animated film, Waltz with Bashir for best foreign language film. Heath has to win best supporting actor.

As for the TV nominations, would like to see Michael C. Hall get the best actor, and Paul Giamatti for best actor in a mini-series. John Adams, Dexter and Entourage to win their respective awards.

I would REALLY like Michael C. Hall and Dexter win in their categories.

I'll be watching 24 over this, but I am keeping an eye out on who wins the awards.

Can we merge mine and this one and put it in misc. films also?

The Wrestler was a great film, and Springsteen's song at the end was perfect. Glad he won :yay:

Tom Wilkinson's performance was really good. I was hoping Denis Leary might get the award, or definitely Jeremy Piven, but i'm happy with the result.

The Wrestler was a great film, and Springsteen's song at the end was perfect. Glad he won :yay:

Bruce is my favorite singer, and that song was perfect for the film - so glad he won.

yeah, Wilkinson did a great job on John Adams. But I would have liked NPH to have won

Ugh, Gabriel Byrne won. Laurie, Hall and Hamm are all much better.

Ricky Gervais referencing his Extras episode with Winslet was hilarious. "Do a holocaust movie and win an award". :D

Edit: Wall-E wins, obviously. Should have a best picture nom to be honest.

He has been the high point so far tonight.. :p

lol. I like how they're literally pronouncing Wall-E.
