Santa Claus: The Movie (1985)

First time seeing this. Apparently it's one of the most popular Christmas movies of all time in the UK.

They have good taste across the pond because I found this absolutely delightful! Roger Ebert described the movie as "thin" and that is undoubtedly true. However, watching this brought back feelings of being a kid again on Christmas Eve.

And at this time of the year, that's good enough for me :yay:

The idea of burying a Christmas Capsule is funny to me for some reason. Especially when it's just buried in the neighbor's yard.

Ah yes. The traditional situation of a Duke needing to find a date for an event, so he invites the first woman he meets. A classic Christmas Conundrum. Gotta say, I know a lot of the men in the movies I've been watching have been lowkey really ugly, but this dude takes the cake.

Also, man if I keep sticking with Prime's selection of films, this will be the only White Christmas I'll be experiencing.
