Don't think a solo movie is that high up their priority list!
LOTR, anyone?
magic land secret prince worked well enough for Thor.
I bet Sam Claflin name is going to start appearing in the casting threads for the Aquaman role because his dyed his hair blonde and has a trident in the Hunger Games movies.
I specifically mean the classic fairy tale trope of the ordinary person who discovers a fantastic world in which, it turns out, they are great and important and typically nobility.
Me as well considering I think Namor is a raging A-holeBack when Marvel hit it big with X-Men and Spiderman and they were selling off licences left and right, they kept mentioning a Namor movie describing it as "Star Wars but underwater." I've been obsessed with the ideas ever since and would rather see it come from Aquaman. The Arthurian inspiration would fit nicely, and I think Namor would be a cooler villain turned ally in a FF or Avengers movie.
is one of those iffy movie heroes. I wouldn't want to see an Aquaman movie (or a Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter movie) because I don't think they are "movie material"
I may be wrong, but I don't think this is a good idea.
Cheers!
