I find it beyond hilarious that people are now WANTING the basketball texture.

They changed almost ALL the elements people were complaining about, and now people want them back.

Personally, it bothers me more that they completely abandoned all the design elements they established, and, on top of that, replaced them with elements from the previous films.

Funnily, the people complaining now probably complained about all of those things while the film was in production but ended up liking it after it's release.

I like the edginess of the one in TASM, and the way it's black and segmented. But I was always a little distracted by the way the outer lower legs are kind of hidden by becoming the outline of the red patch of his shirt. It almost looks like they get cut off.

This time we can clearly make out the full spider, and it's still long, so I'm happy.

Wouldn't mind a compromise between the two for TASM3.

Yeah. I feel the exact same way. I can understand people wanting the costume to look more like the classic version. I personally don't care either way, but to me, this just seems...off.

to me the most insulting part about it is the texture pattern on the suit, its the exact pattern from the raimi suit, I think that is the biggest offense of lacking imagination and being disappointing.

The new suit does seem a lot more like what would happen if they wanted to tweak the Raimi suit in one of their sequels.

I really like the new suit, aside from the belt being too think, I would have liked something that looked more like an actual evolution of the TASM one rather than an evolution of the Raimi suit.

I actually liked the idea of using an ACTUAL belt, like in the game. It would have been a nice approach, perhaps motivated by his need to carry more web cartridges, his phone, and maybe a digital camera. I actually liked him using an old film SLR, but for practicality purposes, using a digital camera while Spider-man makes sense.

That, along with some other modifications, like the eyes, and maybe the gloves, and leg line crap, etc.

seems like the biggest difference is the eyes and chest spider symbol which is alot longer down the body

I think all I wanted was them to copy as much as they possibly could every suit design form the comics and combine them to create the ultimate Spider-Man costume.

Don't even look at Raimi's I would say, there's enough to draw from the comics.

I'm pretty happy with what I've seen of the suit, but if that's more or less how the suit will end up looking in the film, I'll be over the moon.
