Hmm, I think I might just do that. I have to sit here in the campus library for a while since it's the only place I can get wi-fi for my phone. My apartment is stuck with old school ethernet chords unfortunately. I will download it here around 12am (35 minutes from now) and start playing it later tonight. Then I'll post my review probably sometime tomorrow.

//EDIT: XBox One version is cancelled. A reliable german retailer cancelled all XB1 preorders and sent an email out to everyone saying that the publisher cancelled the XB1 version of TASM2. It has been pulled from every single retailer here.

Xbox One version cancelled?! I have the PS4 version pre-ordered so it doesn't affect me but this doesn't sound good. Imagine someone waiting for a game and then it gets cancelled 2 weeks before the release.

There was a game called Ashes Cricket 2013 that got delayed 2 days before release, cancelled on consoles 5 months later, then released on steam for 3 days and taken off because it was not fit for sale.

A game can NEVER be as bad as that

Really? Well I know you're not a fan of the symbiotes, but I really don't see how that would work. How can Venom have the powers of Spider-man if the symbiote was never attached to Spidey? Venom being a villain with Spider-man's powers makes him an interesting character to me. Venom is my favorite villain next to Green Goblin. So maybe I'm being a bit protective.

in the Ultimate cartoon, the symbiote was created from Spider-Man's blood, but I can't remember if he had all of Spider-Man's powers + spider symbol until it latched onto Spidey himself.

Nonetheless, that would be the quickest way to explain Venom without a full symbiote story.

I hope that they don't go that route in the third movie or the Venom movie. I wasn't a fan of it being created from his blood. It's kinda icky...

He looks fine in that pic. But he could be a tad bit bulkier, and I've never really been a huge fan of Venom having Spider-man's webbing on him.

The webbing is the only complaint I have with it. His facial structure looks a lot better than in SM3.
