Another adaption of the newest event in Spider-Man comics?

Just give me a real AAA Spider-Man game already and stop with the crap mobile games. My phone is for making calls, sending messages, listening to music, mail and occasionally checking the internet, not for playing games.

I threw this in today after a while of not playing it, just to swing around. I enjoyed certain things alot. But Man I agree I just want an actual AMAZING game. Something thats awesome. I want faster swinging more exciting moves like what we have seen in the ASM2 movie, a much more alive and more detailed City, I want missions to take place OUTSIDE of buildings across the City. I want a weather and day/night cycle. Something truly next gen that all of us fans could be proud of.

Never going to happen with Beenox...

Don't be too hard on them, they did a commendable job with a 1/4 of the budget the first game had.

Spidey has a trailer for Disney Infinity.

Sigh. The plot looks like a washed down Web of Shadows.

I'm nearly done with TASM2. Trying to get all the achievements then trading it in for Tomb Raider.

I know I said this Before, but I can't get out of my head the thought of Rocksteady developing a Spider-Man game series. It would be so awesome! :(

I always Think of when Rocksteady said they'd like to buy themselves out as an independent studio. Then the interview in which they said they would gladly make more licensed games as long as the license consists of as rich of a world as Batman's.

Imagine this happening: Rocksteady becomes an independent studio. The comic book based game license of Spider-Man is still in the air. Disney offers a huge amount of Money, and Rocksteady signs a deal where they are given as much creative freedom as they've had with the Batman games.

****, in my pants!

We can only imagine :(

It would be amazing, just amazing! Imagine what they could do with his powers!

I'm still waiting for a Spidey game totally based on choices and with different endings, something like role playing.

But it's probably never happen :csad:

Imagine a presentation like the one in this year's E3, revealing a creepy Green Goblin to the sheers of the audience.

:(

I'd love a AAA Spider-Man game too.

Looks like it's a long way there, though.

I want another free roam Spidey game that's not based on a movie and has a decent budget and dev time at least.

Last time we got that was Web of Shadows. (I liked that one :yay:)

So if TASM3 is delayed til 2017, we won't have a game tie-in since Activison loses the rights in 2016.

Once Disney gets the rights, they will probably do what they did to Star Wars and give it to EA.

EA doing Marvel games.

Activision already lost the Spidey rights last year, they are using the movie license right now (so we could totally get another TASM game in 2017). Marvel does already have the Spidey rights back and I don't think they plan on giving them out again. Kevin Feige was enthusiastic about building a "Marvel Games Universe" that stands on its own, starting with their facebook Avengers game. Might take a while but they will certainly release AAA games in the future (maybe even give the license away with a heavy contract that gives them a lot more creative control so they can tie all games together nicely).

Honestly, this will fail. You can't make video games like you make movies. 2 completely different mediums. Marvel needs to team themselves up with another studio and have some involved. With Star Wars, we don't have Star Wars people involved because there aren't any. With Marvel, you could have Bendis involved in writing the game or Waid.

The Facebook Avengers game was ok but I honestly haven't played that in like a year in a half. It just got boring.

IMO while EA and Activison are both bad, I would say EA is the lesser of the 2 evils. Activision has let to many good franchises die with their cashgrabs. Look at Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk, Spider-Man games, and Call of Duty. They are a shell of the franchises they use to be.

While I was really mad with EA owning Star Wars and upset with them, they are the only studio giving me Battlefront and it's by DICE.

I'd say EA is probably the best place to go to for Marvel.

Playing devil's advocate for Beenox balancing a game like Spider-Man is far harder than balancing game play for a game like Batman (who is human).
Spider-Man is super strong, super fast, can cling to any surface (so placing the camera is a nightmare) and senses danger.

I actually know one of the lead coders at Rocksteady (true story) and he said to me they'd avoid a game like Superman like the plague because it would be too difficult to get the game play balance right.

If I were giving Beenox advice I would tell them to go back to the Activision Playstation game play controls or the Spider-Man 2 game play controls.

Batman senses danger in the Rocksteady games.

Also no offense to your friend but a Superman game isn't as hard as people think. People are afraid of doing a Superman game because he's cursed. Superman's gameplay would probably be on the level of Kratos with how powerful it is.

Plus it's rumored Superman will be in Arkham Knight and Rocksteady said their next game won't be Batman and something different. Seems like they are hyping up Superman for a game.

Whatever it is it wont be Superman.

They still owe us a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4 player co-op game.

EA game's as a whole are good though, even though the difference between say FIFA 14 and 15 in minimal at best, the base FIFA game is still great.

Would love to see EA get behind a spider-man game.

I like EA, I know they are usually rated the worse company ever, but I like them. Battlefield, Dead Space, Need for Speed, etc.

I prefer EA over Activision.

I do think they could do a great job with a Spidey game.
