atleast the ASM games are not as bad as the iron man games. and atleast these games are being attempted
My personal wish list for the next Spidey game...
Not a movie game, but loosely based on the film universe
Now it's my turnForgot to add this,
Anyone want to see them try something quite different, prepare yourselves...
A first person Spidey game that is kinda like mirrors edge? Just think of this...

Some, not alot but some Peter Parker missions
If there is two games to take inspiration from it's inFamous and Prototype, DO NOT TRY AND COPY F***ING BATMAN!
Swinging from buildings, not mid air
Have Mysterio has villain, please...![]()

Soooo..... ASM the game?
not meI knew it would be unpopular, does it not even remotely interest any of you?
That definition applies to the game I posted its coverASM the game was based on the film universe. What I'm talking about is a game which is loosely based on it i.e same characters and tone but they are not cannon at all.

Beenox has always listened to fans. It's just that while they listen to fans, they seem to forget everything else :P
Like, people begged for free roam after SD and EoT. People also begged for free flow combat. Beenox listened and gave us both of that. However, they completely forgot about web swinging, side missions etc.
I guess that they will listen to us now as well and give us better web swinging, random events, better boss fights and hopefully a more accurate city. Because that's what fans have been the most disappointed about in ASM. They'll probably focus 100% on that and therefore forget about other stuff such as making the combat more fluid, give more variation to stealth, not make the A.I. lose sight of you so easily, make better looking and more varied goons, not make Spidey just fire web bullets, have better puzzles etc.
Which will make the next game feel as incomplete as the previous one. Hopefully I'm wrong.
That really isn't saying much.
I agree with both of these.
A first-person Spider-man game? Absolutely no interest in that, thank you.
You'd hope they would improve all facets of the gameplay but I can't deny the probability of what you're saying. However, Beenox has always been good about listening to the fans and their criticisms, so who knows. One thing is for sure...I hope Beenox is more forthcoming with the info/details about the game than they were last time.
Yeah, well I don't want to blame Beenox too much either. And I know of course that you're not either, I just want to clarify my post :P I absolutely love their genuine care. It's great that they listen to the fans, obviously. I also think it's obvious that the guys at Beenox really care about the character. I think it's a matter of time, really. They don't get enough time to polish Everything so they focus heavily one what the fans crave. Unfortunately, that's not enough. So, I don't think Beenox are stupid and go "oops, didn't think about that", but that they get into situations where they have to prioritate.
I do think those DLC things for ASM were totally unnecessary though, but that's most likely a demand from Activision.
If they fix all the disappointments from ASM, it will sure be an improvement. I do think however that unless Activision shows more care for their devs works, it will still end up feeling incomplete in a way.
First step towards a better Spider-Man game is getting Spidey out of Activision's hands, with or without Beenox.
Forgot to add this,
