In fact, I think that may be what it is, considering that asm3 isn't scheduled until 2018. I think they're casting for the reboot.

I think there could be a good chance that if the casting call is legit, they're using the tasm3 name for the reboot casting.

I just got to thinking with all the rumors about what sony may or may not do or if marvel is going to get sm or not if sony dose keep him and they still do an sinister six movie will it still come out in November of 2016? I mean with all that is going on I would think that the talks with marvel and sony idea of maybe doing another reboot has had to have deyland sinister six movie even if they do make it.

Thing is, the casting call states Garfield is starring in the picture, and I don't think there's any way things are already patched up with him. That means the casting call is bogus, or it's a front for the reboot



I don't want the casting call to be true, I think I'm making that quite obvious

Maybe the summit has happened and Sony are ditching S6 (in the wake of Suicide Squad) and pressing ahead with ASM3. Would have preferred a Marvel Spider-Man but I'm down with seeing Garfield in the role one more time. I only hope Goddard reigns it in.

Seriously, if they go ahead with ASM 3 on their own, I'll just be eating the popcorn and watching Sony's reaction to diminishing returns. Sony would demonstrate they really, REALLY do not have a clue.
