that's an INSANE amount of money for that issue... not EVEN, man... take a pass on that... there's GOTTA be a more realistic price out there for THAT issue... and that one ain't it...

I'm basing that statement on that 100.000 Euros price...

but the price is 100 euros, not 100 000. Is it worth 100 euros in your opinion?

that translates to about $137... seems a bit much to ME for it, but I haven't seen what the prices are for THAT particular cover... but it's the most common cover out of all the released covers...

It says, "100,00 Euros," so I read it as "100,000 Euros." My bad. If it is 100 euros, then that means its #137 U.S. dollars… that's definitely a lot better lol.

it's the cover you see on the picture, but it is signed by the dude who made it. 100 000€ would be totally crazy haha!

so I should consider searching for one worth 50€, something like that?

I guess after over a year, the issue being what it is and with the guy's autograph, if that's what you want, then I guess it would be worth it to you...

so it probably isn't too bad of a price...

but if you're not sure, then just keep shoppin' around...

Its not that bad of a price, so if you think you can afford it, go for it. Could be worth a lot more in the years to come.

thank your for your avice guys!

did you mean advice or avarice?... :oldrazz:

no, I got it, guy... :woot:

seriously though, not a problem... :yay:

haha, maybe I meant both and I decided to only use one word :p

Any comic is only "worth" what someone is willing to pay for it...

So if 100€ is a "comfortable" price for you, then go for it... a signed copy (is it authenticated) is always a cool thing for any collector to own...

If you're hoping to sell it down the road to make a profit, then you might want to reconsider the price...

:yay:

Well, Goblin was attacking Crime-Master, and then stopped after CM told him about his bank account, and Goblin stopped and thought 'I can't kill him or my identity will be revealed' or something similar, which wouldn't make sense if he thought Crime Master thought he wasn't Norman.

whew... I'll have to go back to ASM #26-27 and UT #23 and #25 to check it all out again and refresh my memory on all of it... but don't YOU have those issues?... because those are the only issues with Goblin and CrimeMaster interacting their relationship, if I remember correctly...

sorry I took a bit long in going back and checking out those issues and events in question... and you're RIGHT... the conversations and the thought balloons in the ASM and UT issues make no sense and don't mesh properly at all... so I can only chalk it up as a continuity inconsistency flaw... and I'm surprised, as the writer of the UT issue was Kurt Busiek...

thanks for the advice!

All good man. Still thanks for helping.
No problem. As for those issues of TSSM, you might have to get some issues individually and the rest in TPB.

With TASM, I finished all of the Essential books, so now I have to mix & match between buying individual issues and TPB's which contain all of the entries I need.

As a new Spider-man comics reader, I was wondering about the characterization of the character throughout the years. In other words, is there a big difference between his teen days and his college days? (Since you read the amazingly affordable Essentials) I just picked up on Vol. 3(Issue 45)

You mean how he started as a high school nerd, then college student, photographer, budding scientist and married man before they put him back in Aunt May's attic...?

Yeah, there was about 30yrs of progression, then a few years of regression.

Ha, well I was referring to the early stories, or his high school days. Chronologically, I'm in the late 60's.

There is a huge progression from Amazing Fantasy 15 into the later years when he graduates college and marries MJ. Big difference.

Thanks. I'll just have to see if I can find the early ones...

Look for the Essential or Marvel Masterworks books. There are also two TASM Omnibuses that are worth checking out, too.

I have a general question!

Are there any big Spider-Man storylines you'd recommend? Also, does it come in trade form?
