And some people are closing their eyes to them.
I'm sure there are faults but some of it seems reaching.

to heights a webline cant even reachI'm sure there are faults but some of it seems reaching.
With regards to the cheese, every cbm has it. sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt
And Dragon, these are some poor arguments you're putting forward
Spidey getting in and out of the car without making a noise is artistic licence. Something done for effect.
This happens in many films, and used by some of the best directors.
The most memorable moment in Jurassic Park occurs when water in a glass begins to move as the T Rex approaches. Yet, later when the Raptures are close to eating everyone the day is saved when the T Rex attacks the Raptures. In that moment she somehow enter a building without making a sound.
If you're going to hold every film to the level of scrutiny you're not going to like many films.
Dragon, it's just that you're being very confrontational. Telling people that you think the script is bad isn't going to change their minds unless you put forward some serious evidence beyond nitpicking a single scene.
Even with that you probably wouldn't change their minds.
Haha it's actually hilarious some people trying their hardest to nitpick about every little thing in this movie.
The amount of cheese in the raimi trilogy could feed all vermins rats.
When presented with an argument, instead of providing a counter argument, you resort to unflattering sarcasm. At least try to convince me of your viewpoint.Wow. Thanks for telling me that. I take it all back![]()
Question, why is him leaping up to the ceiling silent? Regardless of the fact that he can crawl around silently (which is honestly implausible in itself), why did Norman not hear him land on the ceiling?
And if Peter started moving once the blood dropped, Norman should of saw him moving, and regardless of that, we should of saw Peter go out the window anyway.
The scene is just as implausible as the car-jacking scene.

Crazy talk.

Cute
You think it takes super hearing to hear a drop of blood fall from a ceiling? Ever have a ceiling pipe leak? You can definitely hear it.
So, you've just agreed with my argument and yet called it silly.
1. I didn't mention Avengers, BB (Which I have said I didn't even like) or TDK in this debate. And yes, they have loads of cheese as well.
2. I didn't say TASM was cheesier than Raimi's films, just that's it has its share of cheese. I said the script is bad. And it's very bad.
I'll now put forward the argument that you seem inconsistent in that you're willing to accept the silence with which spidey moves in say 2002 Spider-man whilst being completely unforgiving of Spidey getting into a car silently in TASM. Surely it's implausible to qualify one as possible and not the other given the evidenceSorry, but you didn't present an argument there. And my argument has been presented over the past few pages. If you want to address something specific, you're welcome to do so.
I am curious Dragon, are you considering the silent entrance into the car a plothole?
EDIT: Uh, no matter how strong you are you can't move silently. The fabric alone would make some sort of noise.
Yes you can. For one thing certain materials absorb sound (Thus sound-proof rooms, etc. ). But in Spidey's case his strength and speed allows him to place his hands and feet on a surface without making a noise. I'm not saying that if Spidey dropped from the ceiling to the floor there'd be no sound, just when he's crawling across the surface.
I'm also not saying that Spidey's body would make noise entering the car (although it is different from climbing on a ceiling) but the door would make noise opening and closing. He couldn't control that. Moreover, he just appears in the car even though we'd had a shot where we were constantly looking at his only area of entry.
This is the box office thread, why are you people having pointless, repetitive arguments with trolls?
Not a rhetorical question, I'm actually curious why.
so we agree then?![]()
okay maybe not super hearing, but very good hearing at least. One drop can be easy to miss in a room of talking people. but still you have four people in the room and him on the roof, how does he move without a single person hearing him? more importantly, how does he not cast a shadow anywhere in a brightly lit bedroom?
uuuh when did I agree with your argument?![]()
1. I know you didn't, but I was making I point that every CBM movie has some cheese in it.
2. okay, then i apologise if you didn't, from the way you were talking about this movie I got that impression.

GuestStar2004 said:im sorry but the sm1 ceiling scene is more silly then the appearing at the back seat of a car
peters ceiling would have to be so high up for norman not to see him at top corner of his eye, and when the blood hits the floor somehow spiderman manages to get out of the window super fast and quietly... now how could he do that? if he used his web he would have been heard so he jumped from the ceiling to outside? even though we could see behind normans back just after the blood hit the floor?
then you compare it to the appearing at the back of the car... we dont know how he got in the back of the car but there are no restrictions to the imagination, and we hear the door close as he gets out
