So is he going to lose the coat at some point or was the model simply not complete in the past footage we've seen?

If I had to take a guess, I would say he loses the labcoat at some point. I hope he keeps the labcoat for more than a scene or two though

If it were up to me he'd have the lab coat for most of the movie but that's probably not the case. Oh well at least we're getting a few scenes with the Lizard looking classic as heck.

Really like the lab coat look I must say. This is powerful reverent imagery right here.

Just realized something. Look at the background of the image with the claw. Now look at the drain/well in the second pic. Thought that was interesting. I have a feeling that this is in the sewers and Peter dropped his camera accidentally in a fight or something.

Or that at least the two of them are connected. You know, that whole angle in the comics where villains go to Parker and ask him to get his "spider friend".

I am really happy to see the lab coat. There's an added humanity that it gives to that big hulking monster, it might look cheesy to some of you but I deem it really important. It also helps to distinguish him from a "simple lizard creature". Gives him character.

It does look like his face is more elongated than initial images led me too believe. Maybe we'll get a really good look at him soon.

the lizard looks actually so much cooler than the promo art of him! Even the freaking arm looks way more awesome than in the promo art pics
and the cgi is just beautiful!

I saw the first lizard images months back where he is face to face with two girls in a bathroom, and it's been clear to me since then that he does have a 'snout' or protruding mouth area. It's most likely just hard to notice from some angles, such as front on which makes sense. I guess it's also possible that the lizards form will vary throughout the movie.
