You bet, lol.
Yes?Aziz?
glowing eyes is a little to subtle in my humble opinion.
Glowing eyes
But who expects realism in a movie about a guy who turns to a giant man-lizard through a serum to heal to hold realism? Get real seekers of realism
^^^^^^and that was my impersonation of a TASM troll.
(Not you Aziz, you're cool).
I think he was talking about his comment directly above yours, saying "Glowing eyes in not realistic. THIS MOVIE IS GONNA BLOW!!!!!!!"are you serious? so you can't express an opinion without being labelled a troll. I would suggest a troll is someone who insults a poster for no reason. if you disagree with my opinion then give a counter arguement and pack in the insults, I can insult people I disagree with as well but that pretty childish.
Some people demand realism from this movie, and I think some said Webb aims at realism, and that was my thought of the subjectI was wondering about the realism comment.

MKL route: "Grim realism with a hint of mysticism"I think that's true when it comes to the world and the people surrounding these fantastical creatures. He's gonna make it feel real. Of course he'll go full sci-fi/fantasy when it comes to Spider-Man and his enemies.

I see it like this, movies are an illiusion the longer you can keep that illusion going the more you are going to be wrapped up in that illusion.
anything that breaks that illusion thereby 'taking you out of the movie' is bad.
the more something looks and feels 'real' the more you buy it the more you are engaged. therefore making something feel 'real' will see the illusion.
an example if you make a superman movie and superman picks up a car, obviously no human do that so you can either CG the car or use hydrolics to lift a real car. the latter will definately sell the illusion more and the audience wont be taken out of the movie by thinking it looks fake. that way nolan's movies are so effective because virtually everything is practicle.
look at the spidey trailer, not even the most ardent raimi fan can say spidey leaping around for REAL doesn't look better than a CG spidey leaping around. there is a weight to it you just can't recreate in a computer.
no one is going to tell me superman done 30 years ago didn't look better than superman returns done in the last decade. realism also extends to sets rather than green screens, etc.
make it real and you will instantly sell the idea of your movie even if you are doing the fantastic.
t:t:
People get more out of the spectacle when they really see it happening. Think of that first scene in raiders of the lost ark and how it would be if the boulder, the spears, the darts and everything else was, including harrison ford, was CGI
UGH! apart from the killer ants please tell me one scene (ONE SCENE) that had to be CG in the new indy movie? rubbish movie.
