Somebody recorded the clocktower scene, I watched it again (I've seen it in the cinema first, don't worry) she definitely hits the ground. The sound alone gives it away.

**** sake, she didn't hit the ground. The one complaint I had with the scene is the fact she was TOO close to the ground so people think she hit her head. She didn't.

Look at the way her head dangles, it's way above the ground. The web was tightened so there was no way it could have hit the ground. She died from the whiplash, her neck snapped, and her hair hit the ground. The sound was of the web tugging completely and her clothes touching the ground/neck snapping.

I seen the movie twice and I made sure to check it the second time. It's her hair that hits the ground, NOT her. That's the point of the scene. She was so close to certain death yet Spider-Man saved her if you view it in that way, but as we know she didn't survive the whiplash.

I didn't notice her head hitting the ground, either. I don't see why they would do that.

no didnt notice the nose bleed. Had to concentrate not to tear up^^.

I was tearing up like a mother****er.

The drop of blood running down her cheek made her death not just sad, but really hard to watch as well.

It was kinda like a "yes, she's ****ing dead" to the audience.

I've seen some critics/users bash TASM2 simply because it's a "rehash".

No, it's just because it's a reboot *sigh*

The sound is so obviously not just a webline tightening. It's a dull THUD. Hit your fist with your palm, that's what it sounds like.

The sound alone is unmistakably the sound of a head hitting solid ground. A neck break sounds different.

For people that have seen the film, how is Andrew's performance when he is told his parents were traitors, etc and when he rips the stuff off the wall and smashes the calculator? Do you really get the vibe that he's extremely pissed off?

I was a good performance, but he never really came off as furious, to me.

Not pissed, more of a paralysis after hearing a view you held to be utterly true for so long to be a lie.

So I've given this film a little more thought...

After hours of thinking I've come to a 8.7/10.

Go see it people, it's pretty ****ing good. I take back some stuff I said earlier.
