uv had great action... therefore i can watch it again and again.


it annoys me how they can pass off ******ed comedys like napoleon dynamite,nacho libre, or anchorman as comdeys...
they were made for idiots.

LOL and Ultra Violet wasn't made for idiots?

It had great action? Wow, we must have seen a different film....even Milla Jovovich says it was a ****ty movie, and she got paid to do it.

but i liked the anime feel to it......not many movies have that...the matrix does

i was wacthing anchorman and like 30min into it i just gave up. and thats like one of the two only movies ive ever stopped watching(never in theaters though)......i even watch the entire Casshern movie

Nah man I understand. I love a lot of movies a lot of people hate (FF). Plus you get points for your ghost rider avy, that movie looks awesome

it was good BECAUSE it was ******ed. Will Ferrel said it himself in the outtakes "this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard."

s#!t like "The Human Torch was denied a bank loan." and "60% of the time, it works every time." and "I would like to extend to you an invitation to the pants party." and "They named it San Diago, which means 'a whale's vagina'"...

not to mention the outtakes in the end: "By the hammer of Thor!" and "I ate a lava lamp. It wasn't lava." and "I'm gonna shoot you with a bb gun when you're not looking." it goes on and on...

being ******ed is something that can actually work for a comedy. unfortunately for UltraViolet, the same does not go for action movies.

Agreed. I hated it when I first saw it (well, as much as a i could stomach before turning it off), and I hate it even more now that it's so unbelievably overrated. People quote it endlessly and it's just... not funny.

Anchorman was genius though. My favorite scene is the rumble. "wow, that escalated quickly".

Anchorman is ****ing hilarious. It ranks neck and neck with Old School as Ferrell's best work. I actually felt the humor was on target 95 % of the time, the soundtrack was great (a rarity films of this genre), the performances were spot on, and it just really felt like a good satire of 1970s' stereotypes.

And yes, Naopleon Dynamite does suck. I've only seen a few minutes of it, and is one of the most insipid pieces of cinema ever.
