We've all been there... You want to put on a movie, but when staring at your massive wall of DVDs and Blu-Rays, you indecision kicks in. You have a general idea of what kind of movie you want to see, but you can't seem to narrow the decision down to one movie, because they're all so awesome. Well, here is a thread where you can lay out your troubles, and let your fellow film buffs make you a recommendation. Simply say what movies you're trying to choose between, and hopefully, your fellow Hypesters will lend you a hand in picking one!

To demonstrate, I'll go first, since I myself am having trouble picking:

X-Men, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the original)?

Your contributions / feedback are appreciated! :)

You just cant beat the first X-Men. People crap all over the X-film series and Fox (which I've done plenty of, trust me), but IMO X1 is one of the best comic book movies to date.

i like X-Men a lot. i liked teeange mutant ninja turtles the best. i seen it over thousandtimes.(the original)

Panic In Needle Park or Insomnia ?

Insomnia, only if you want to fall asleep though

Not really the best judge as I havent seen either, but I'd go with Insomnia.

Panic In Needle Park or Insomnia ?
Insomnia, the swedish one or the remake ? they're both good but the original one is better imo, if only because Skarsgad performance is, surprise, more subtle than Pacino's (Robin Williams on the other hand might be better than his swedish counterpart)
If you're in the mood for early Pacino and haven't already seen it, Dog Day Afternoon is a better film than Needle park imo. And if you're actually in the mood for a film about heroin junkies than go with Candy with the late great Heath Ledger, also a superior film than needle park.

The Crow, it doesn't get watched enough

Definitely go with the Crow.... it'll depress that X-Men mood right outta ya.

X-Men. The Crow was a major disappointment for me.

The Crow (without question.)

I haven't seen The Crow. Is it any good?

It's so good that no one cares that it wasn't completely faithful to the comic.

Personally, I didnt care for it. It left me feeling cold...

I only have seen it once though. Maybe it gets better with repeated viewings.

Both are good, but it all depends on the mood you're in.
