The "Which movie should I watch next?" thread

We've all been there... You want to put on a movie, but when staring at your massive wall of DVDs and Blu-Rays, you indecision kicks in. You have a general idea of what kind of movie you want to see, but you can't seem to narrow the decision down to one movie, because they're all so awesome. Well, here is a thread where you can lay out your troubles, and let your fellow film buffs make you a recommendation. Simply say what movies you're trying to choose between, and hopefully, your fellow Hypesters will lend you a hand in picking one!

To demonstrate, I'll go first, since I myself am having trouble picking:

X-Men, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the original)?

Your contributions / feedback are appreciated! :)

I would go with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Both are good movies however.

I did, it was still awesome ^^^

OFF TOPIC:

That's why I'm thinking "Why remake the Crow"? Remember that bit of news?

Usually you remake a movie just to modernize it (current actors, visual effects, film grain) but The Crow was fairly timeless. What would be the point?

The point would be the same as with most other remakes, try to bank on a proven name.

i don't buy that.

I don't mind Star Trek or James Bond's reboots because they're not neglecting the past movies. But this is a discussion for another thread.

Casino by a landslide.

"Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" or "Transformers"...

Ohh a tough choice between two bad movies. Since Im a Terminator fan I have to go with T3.

007: Quantum Of Solace or Miracle at St. Anna

Screw T3. Go with "Transformers".

No one should ever have to watch Miracle at St Anna. Quantum of Solace.

is it a bad film?
No. But Spike Lee is a ****ing ***** that should really shut the **** up.

Cause he just had to go and call Clint Eastwood a racist.... only for publicity.

well, Spike Lee's 25th Hour is amazing, so I would rather judge him by his movies than the person behind the camera. If that's the case, I shouldn't watch movies by Woody Allen or Roman Polanski.

It's just the Clint Eastwood thing was too much for me.... especially when Clint Eastwood just did an all Japanese WW2 movie. And Spike is calling him racist for not having black people in it.

Spike is a *****e, I know. He wants attention no matter how much.
