The only casting suggestion I don't like is Chris pine. I hands down don't like that idea. Nothing against him, he just ain't the flash

What would you think of Liam hemsworth? I know his brother is Thor, but just saw a pic and he looks decent for a Barry Allen. I have no idea of his acting range though because I've never ever seen him act in anything.

The only thing I've seen him in is Breaking Bad and the trailer for Need For Speed. Jessie Pinkman isn't exactly a character who i'd associate with Barry or Wally.
Personally I like Paul, but I don't think he's suited for a superhero role.

Yeah I feel the sameBout Aaron. A big concern though is they can't all be square jawed heroes. In the comics sometimes a lot of the males tent to blend into one another face features and what not. Sorry going off track lol

When you folks say Aaron Paul, do you mean as Wally or Barry?
I personally think he's make a great former, a horrible latter.
Dc animation has made wally pretty popular with the GA(kids), but Geoff Johns will die before he lets the mantle holders(kyle/wally) have their day.

That's a really cool suggestion if they're going for a slightly older Flash. Wilson who's 40 would be a great Barry.

Sam Claflin
His name has been thrown around here alot since Catching Fire came out. I think he'd be perfect for Barry or Wally.
He's basically the darling casting choice at the moment. Sort of how Jamie Alexander was for Wonder Woman. Only Caflin doesn't have a contract with Marvel so we'll see.

Terrible. No way, absolutely not. Terrible actor with the personality and charisma of a doorknob. Very wrong for Barry. Plus I don't like his look for him either, I'd prefer Barry have a less "brutish" frame and structure for lack of a better term.

Meh to both, and I don't get the love for Aaron Paul, he looks like a serial killer or Bradley Cooper's warped brother from another dimension. Doesn't have the easy going personality/nature of Barry Allen (or any Flash for that matter) either, I don't see him pulling it off.

IMO,
Chris Pine has the better look and personality for Barry Allen.
Barry is a likeable guy who always tries to do the right thing, and
often ends up getting screwed for it (something I though Geoff
Johns got absolutely right).
His version of Kirk is much more human, and relatable than
Shatner's (although Shatner will always be Kirk ! he's the man).
So IMO, Pine for Barry.
Just can't see Aaron Paul as a super-hero, not in terms of look
or of charm, does have more of a serial killer vibe.
