I figured people here might want to know: in Canada, EBGames, Wal-Mart, Futureshop and Best Buy are all chopping thirty bucks off the price of Arkham Asylum ($39 instead of $69) from the 25th to the 27th, so if you're in Canada (or live near the border and want to save thirty bucks), you may want to buy from one of these retailers instead of somewhere else.

WB never owned the companies involved in producing Batman: Arkham Asylum, so I don't see why they wouldn't do business with them again for a sequel.

Just bought it for PS3, haven't played it yet....


If they make a sequel, they will have to change things up though. Use the same cast and talent, but expand the game and make it an open world of Gotham. I don't know how a series of games set in on building will be able to stay fresh. It's a great idea for the one game, but for the second game I'd like to see a full out free roam with use of the batmobile, etc.

Sorry man, having a Batman game set in one prison is not my style. I wanna glide through Gotham, glide down, beat up some thugs, and repel up, and look over the city. And also tear up the streets in the batmobile. And the Joker looks like he has a penis for a chin.

I just beat it. I'm going to play again though on the harder levels. I loved this game! It was great. Noticed a couple glitches with the cape now and then but loved it completely. I LOVED the Scarecrow's levels, even though he looks like Freddy Krueger. They were so twisted. The one

I thought my game broke! I was sitting there and it started buggin' so I started yelling at my screen. Also when you become young Bruce and walk down the "alley" That was great!

Loved it though. Really greatt:.

I just finished it as well and have to play it again this time I will hunt every riddle and whatnot, that aside...great Game!!!

I bought the game at midnight and havent put it down since...its not the greatest game ever but as far as batman games and comic-book-games in general, its pretty damned good.
The story helps a ton..Paul Dini did a fantastic job

however, im glad i did not buy the limited edition. The batarang looks flimsy and I hear the "Journal" is just printed character bios from the game and the behind-the-scenes-DVD is all the stuff ive seen just from keeping tabs on all the videos floatin around before release.

Me Too! i literally stood up out of my seat saying "no No NO!!!" and ran over and turned my 360 off thinkin that was the only way to save it from the Red Ring!

Game was awesome though! hoping for a second that takes us to gotham

Only reason i got the CE, pre-ordered at gamestop, and got it on ps3 was to get the dem bones, crime alley, and play as joker maps. the other stuff isnt that great. especially the plastic batarang. I swear one day I'll have a prop quality reproduction or original from Batman 1989 or something eventually though.

Im pretty upset that i dont get to play Crime Alley, it looks really awesome and I hear is the best part of the whole CE.
Dem Bones is pretty fantastic...
and being that I only own a 360, my heart is in pieces that i cant play as Mr.J!!!
I curse the day I sold my PS3....this is the first time since that ive actually regretted the decision.

Hows the Joker map? is is just a single-room challenge map or more like a mini-game/mission type thing?
