BB and TDKR are the best of the trilogy in my opinion, they have a unique atmosphere and the best cinematography. TDK is also really good but too much a Heat Ripoff at times.

Ok, well you win this round, but Tom conti is clearly doing a French accent as his pit prisoner character, the same pit where Taila grew up!

I just don't understand thinking that the character of Taila is at all changed so that Marion can play her. She's gonna be white in this version because Liam Neeson is her dad and if there's a white actress in 2012 who is perfect for Taila, it's Marion.

From ten years ago I think either Jenna Dewan or Alia Shawkat would have served the character of Talia very well. Marion did a good job though.

I wouldn’t expect any news about the sequel for another year. Probably some Penguin casting and directing news closer to the end of the year methinks.

I’m dying to know about the supporting cast and characters. We need some confirmation on that end. I do believe the Thorne and Clayface thing but I’m skeptical about the Sionis and Falcone fam rumour. If it’s all true...Jesus Christ we’re in for something crazy.

Alia is essentially a real-world Talia in The Old Man.

Let that deleted scene just be the main scene where this Joker appears, he is in jail, thats it.

Really dont know wich villian appears now, pinguïn comes back i think.
A realistic mr.freeze could be interesting for sure, but more fantastical could also be cool.

if thorne and clayface shows up, i'm thinking they are definitely drawing from strange apparitions arc for inspiration and that's gonna be goooooood.

Penguin is a lock. Catwoman will return later in the movie. Joker/Riddler may have another cameo if someone new makes their way into Arkham at the end of the movie. Otherwise keep him out of it until the third movie. If the Penguin show is the origin for Black Mask then there’s a high chance he’ll be one of Penguin’s rivals in the sequel.

I really don’t know about Freeze. It’s possible if Reeves sees a way to link Victor with Penguin, but like I’ve said in the past, Victor requires a ton of attention. Almost like making him a protagonist. So I really don’t see it happening next. And I seriously doubt Reeves would have shown his hand in some random interview during The Batman press. Not impossible, just highly unlikely.

Dent’s introduction sounds about right. And probably another villain at the forefront. I’m leaning on Deadshot these days.

I think that we should look a bit more at The 1966 Batman series for villains. Reeves has mentioned it a lot when talking about The Batman and it’s inspirations, so maybe Egghead or King Tut could be in the running?

If the Rupert Thorne thing is legit (and I hope it is), maybe Reeves is looking at that Englehart/Rogers era for some inspiration and Deadshot would fit right in. Maybe not as a primary antagonist but certainly in the mix.

Could mean we see Silver St. Cloud and Hugo Strange too.
