I thought it was a fake using Looking Glass as a base but the mask isn't an exact match.

Also, the guy who posted this, his first "leak" on Reddit was that Pattinson was looking "buff as ****" and the Batsuit is all material based and not armour. I'm calling a fake!

Matt Reeves posted as the First Day of shoot.

And that is some really interesting still, really Se7en vibe like someone else's said.

I'm happy that they don't seem to hold back on the detective/serious side of the movie.

real or not, I imagine Reeves is definitely going for a serious detective movie. And that's not to say it will be void of levity or anything. Even Se7en had it's "light" moments. .

How does that make it real? That is precisely what fake leakers do to try and make their bull**** credible. They use existing information to try and make their leaks credible. The second big thing they do to try and make their fake leaks believable is take a photo of a screen. It helps hide a lot of artifacts in the image. I find it very suspicious that our first leaked image involves the chair from our first and only official set photo. We all need to take a deep breath. This one smells a lot...

We'll see!

A scene of funeral, first day of shoot with this chair and it seems to be an expensive chair so an important person. All this goes well with some rumors saying the killer in the movie is aiming for known personality and the se7en inspiration.

I don't know, it seems real and I hope so, because it looks dope af.
If not, then what a job these guys did!

Yes! I imagine the relationship between batman and gordon will maybe be similar to morgan freeman and brad pitt, the old cop who's seen a lot plus the young new kid with a lot of front but maybe a bit naive.

Except... that's not all inaccurate, is it? Pattinson himself might still be pretty slim, but from the glimpse we saw of him in the Batsuit reveal video and the pics of the stuntmen in costume, that Batsuit design really does cut a larger profile and can give casual viewers the idea that Bruce is larger than Pattinson currently is.

Plus, while the suit is armored, there's a lot more fabric going on with it than any previous Batsuit in the modern era save for Affleck's. It's all pieced together parts of armor over fabric materials, right down to a stitched together leather cowl.

I'm still a tad skeptical, but this generally feels legit to me and seems to line up with a lot of the bits of information that we do know so far.

Namely that political figures in Gotham City seem to be key targets of the Riddler (or whoever else the killer might be).

Imagine if the movie has an ending as dark as Seven and someone close to Bruce gets killed at the end of the movie.

Maybe too much like Rachel in TDK, i think its safe to say the movie starts with the emotional murder and then end with him not able to caught the killer or yes he got the guy but not the one pulling the strings.

All the films Reeves refered (seven, zodiac, chinatown) the protagonist loses at the end.

So I expect a kind of win/lose in this situation.

i may be wrong too, though.

This murder may cause a chain of reaction that could go on, creating the new Gotham ruled by freaks.

At the same time the movie has to stand on its own story too and be complete.

But reeves said Batman had a full arc so I’m not worried.

Yep, it confirms that the attention is really there. Pattinson for all his twilight controversy (or the anti Pattinson people ) has become respected as an actor, with his bold and successful choices (from a critic pov) . Reeves has received praised for his Apes movies. They are not 1 billion hits, "War" was a slight box office disapointement, but it did money. And, well this is Batman, and i dont think people in general hate the little that they have seen (so, no discounting, the people that genuinely dont like it) People are intrigued imo.
