The Batman SDCC video THE REAL ONE!

It's not even like that I loved the Batman: the animatedd series and if I had lots of money would easily get them but the the thing is that was the past and now it's time to look to the future, the kids nows have crap shows like pokemon and yugi oh and needd some kind of true hero, and maybe just maybe THE BATMAN can be that hero.

Wow looks really good. Martian Manhunter... nice. I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on who Everywhere man is? I looked on Wikipedia but I didn't get a lot. Someone help me out?

No one knows anything his is supposedly a brand new character.

Everywhere Man is a new villian created for the show, much as Cosmo Krank, D.A.V.E., Temblor, and Gearhead. Plus it gives SUPERMAN RETURNS star Brandon Routh a chance to show off his VA chops.

I'll agree that THE BATMAN and the shows created since the Timmverse started haven't been as good, but to be frank, the entire animation industry in America, least on TV, is shifting away from cartoons that are "mature" and swinging back towards providing more "kiddie" fare. While they're not as violence-free or trite as shows in the 80's or early 90's (Spider-Man was never allowed to punch people, for instance), their stories are getting simplier with premises more geared towards what they believe children want. The WB always has a fetish for inserting kids into every show they have, so it's no surprise that Batman seems to gain a kid every season. I'm almost expecting Spoiler next season. Not even TMNT, a show I loved since 2003, was safe, as it's now been toned down, retooled, and made not as dark (even visibly) into TMNT: FAST FOWARD. That's just where the industry is swinging right now.

THE BATMAN's not the greatest, but I've given up on it being Timm-esque terrific and see that it's fine for action fluff that rarely tests you intelligence, especially after Season 2, it's peak IMO. It offers a more superheroy Batman.

Actually Gearhead is a revision of an old batman villian.

Really? I'm not a huge DC buff but the closest character I knew of was Gear, a LOSH character who could "Grow" technological junk.

Granted, while THE BATMAN has a "hit or miss" record when it comes to A-List Batman villians like Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Clayface, Killer Croc, Riddler, etc., they've made interesting turns and episodes out of B and lower listers, like Ventriloquist, Cluemaster, and Spellbinder.

FYI, while I know in the comics there have been a laundry list of guys who've been Clayface, I'm not a fan of replacing Bennet's character. His decent into madness via the Joker and his becoming Clayface, and subsequent battles with Batman (who, as Wayne, was once his friend) provided some great tension and was the saving grace of Season 1. Bennet's Clayface served the role of a Harvey Dent/Two-Face dynamic with Batman, wherein Batman is trying to save/capture a friend, only unlike Dent, Bennet actually had more than 2 episode appearences before becoming a baddie. All of Bennet's Clayface episodes were good (at least in terms of THE BATMAN), and it'll be a shame to see him hit the dustbin with Yin.

Let me rephrase that Gearhead is a revision of the old charcater Gearhead.

Ghost 113 is correct, Gearhead is from the comics. As I haven't seen the episode yet, I can't tell you if the TV version is the same. After all, "The Batman" verasion of Cluemaster was *WAY* different from the comics.

Okay then, so we'll count Gearhead as one of the several C-List Batman villians that THE BATMAN has used efficiently. ;)

well im glad somebody see's the same issue i see.

This is Totally wicked! The Oracle and Nightwing look awesome as modern versions. And their younger selves working with Bruce are all done seamlessly.

The future episodes look interesting. I must say, Black Mask is awesome. The design and voice are perfect.

Yes, james remar is perfect for the black mask intimidating and somewhat scary.

I think you're jumping to conclusions a bit... just becuase there will be a new clayface, doesn't mean Ethan will dissapear. I'm pretty sure the point is to have two clayfaces on the show. and you never know... this could give them the opportunity to take an even more interesting turn with Ethan's character, possibly having him reform? that would be interesting. to see him help Batman stop this new, deadlier Clayface!

wow, this has me more psyched than the spiderman 3 trailers...

i thought that was like impossible....

this show is heading somewhere peeps, while i felt TAS peaked way way too early in its story telling, i think the batman may have started off slowly but now shows it has the legs to make a name for itself in the animation world as going from an underdog to one of the all time favourites.

haven't been this optimistic about anything since seeing that legendary spiderman 2 lacrimosa trailer...

wow...

I just wish now that we have Robin we would see less of Batgirl but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I was hoping they both would be gone and batman would still be taking care of these villians by himself, especially batgirl.

I don't mind Robin as much as I do Batgirl. Now if Robin transforms into Batgirl II then I will be upset.

robin is cool but truthfully they should have neever put batgirl in the series, I do like how they introduced her and poison ivy.

Wow..I use to love watching This Show before going off to work...but its on too late now for me to watch it:csad: ......but the season looks great...hopefully people post some episode on you tude so I can watch...Hopefully....Robin looks great.....and I wanna see interaction between Robin and her...but I think he's too young....and the action looks really great as usually...Future Batman was the only down part he looked awfully too BUFF

I'm pissed i'm hgoing to miss this whole season, except for like one episode, because i'm going ot some kind of college program.

I like both Robin and Batgirl.

Killer Moth sounds like one of The Monarch's henchmen.
