BvS The Batwing Thread

I'm not even joking... I think this thing IS the aquatic Bat-vehicle. I think this Batmobile is amphibious.

Nah I'll leave it to you since you're the expert thread maker round these parts.:o

Nah, it's not necessary pal... didn't you get the memo? now the batmobile can be batboat.. you can discuss on the batmobile thread :cwink::oldrazz:

They are definitely going to need some kind of crew carrier airplane. I know most JL members can fly but a few can't.

I think the batwing will be more like a passenger jet.

Prob. something like the Avengers QuinJet or the X-Jet.

the Batwing could be the league transport, Wonder Woman's invisible plane could also serve that purpose, or they could bring in the javelin

Batman don't like letting other people touch his stuff, so I am guessing either Diana's even more stealthy Jet or maybe they go with the League has teleporters idea, which... I love the classic League but the transporter thing always seemed a step too far for some reason. It's like... You guys have access to such tech and you keep it for yourselves? Who needs Superman or GL? Give that transporter tech to the RED CROSS. I'm sure they'd love some way to evacuate large amounts of people from under Earthquake rubble or get refugees out of war zones with waiting for an air lift. I can't imagine how short some Batman stories would be is he just remembered that he had access to a FREAKING TRANSPORTER!!!

I think the batwing will be 2 seat, the invisible jet will be for the JL. but that doesn't mean that Batman doesn't have one, he'll have one for his missions (before being a leaguer or after maybe) or when he wants to travel to a place in a hurry.

I really, really want their watchtower to be a satellite in space though. Not just that I like the SF feel this sets, but it also literally makes them watchers and protectors of earth. An entire earth and humankind, which would to me be lost if Justice League were to be based in a particular country.

But I agree about transporter, for both reasons you stated. The only way I see using it that could avoid those two issues is if they found some strange alien technology that they're using to transport themselves, but are not familiar enough with it to be able to recreate it or even disassemble it to send it for scientific research.

I guess, if the watchtower were an orbiting alien spaceship instead of satellite that by the end of JL movie leaguers begin to use as their own (which would probably be more in line with these movies than Bruce Wayne building a satellite), the technology could be more easily attached to that ship only. Still, there would have to be some serious limitations in its use, or it could become either a Deus Ex Machina or would be completely ignored, leaving a questions such as "why the hell haven't Batman used a transporter to get out of that place in his solo movie?"

But I guess the most plausible approach would be if they would use some space (Kryptonian?) vessel to get themselves to the satellite/spaceship. Of course, it goes without saying that Batwing or Wonder Womans jet shouldn't be able do get to outer space.

This. Two-seated batwing and invisible jet that is to leaguers what blackbird is to X-Men sounds just right.

I think the Batwing having limits makes sense. Diana's jet though? If they made it capable of making regular trips back and forth from the satellite I'd accept it. She's got access to Amazonian tech and mystical power. I'd buy some version of the Invisible Jet going into orbit no problem.

Yeah, it wouldn't be that much of a stretch, actually. I wouldn't mind it.

But of course, it depends on how they decide to depict Amazons in these movies.

Just because we haven't seen something doesn't mean it doesn't exist, ala not spotting Batman on the BvS set. A batwing is absolutely possible. They could have something rigged up in front of a green screen.

The topic that will nevah die.

Ah we do have a batwing thread. My bad.

Anyway, I knew it, ever since I saw those two wings on the back that they're supposed to be the bat ears when watched from below. The shape is a bit strange and not as aerodynamic, but it is definitely meant to form a bat, or more precisely, a batsymbol.

THANK YOU ZACK SNYDER!!!!!

Oh wow. That's deffs it. Looks pretty cool.

Rumors are Bruce lives by a lake that touches Wayne Manor property in a smallish cabin that is over an access point to the cave... An aquatic/amphibious plane would make sense.

If this vehicle was dual purpose, I'd be impressed.

What if... Just saying, WHAT IF... That central "cockpit" were a detachable part, that attached to the the frames of various vehicles? So there is a section of the cave that has the basic frames of all these differing modular vehicles and he just snaps the "cockpit" with minor alterations into the frames?
