BvS The Batwing Thread

The gaping hole in the middle of the jet looks weird, but I like it overall.

When I look at it, I mostly think of some version of the Batboat.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if this thing was amphibious.

Seeing this Batwing and noticing those two panels coming out the back of the cockpit just like the Batmobile, I'm wondering if those are meant to slide forward to cover the windows and be used for some sort of stealth/armor/storage mode.

Arkham Asylum Batwing for me.

That looks like a black Cyclonus repaint from transformers.

Honestly, the Bat was a hell of a lot more imaginative and interesting than this one.

I'll give you imaginative. But it was ugly, wonky and barely did anything in the movie.
Maybe it needed the rest of the Zords to combine into the seaworld Megazord. :sly:

I like the Batwing. People seem to be disappointed that it's not shaped like a bat, but that was never a thing until Batman '89 and TAS.

I was watching Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths last night, and it had one thing I'd like to see in BvS. Namely, Oilman's "batwing" was able to take on a lot of super powered characters. Since the Batwing is arguably Batman's biggest gun, I'd like to show that it can even give Superman a run for his money with special artillery and such.

If someone manages to find a gif, even better.

TDKR one still reminds me of a giant, flying tick.

I'm going to guess that the cockpit of the Batwing is interchangeable with the Batmobile, and the 'wings' swoop in like a drone or something.

Not a fan of it personally. The design looks awkward with that big area at the front.

It's my favourite Batman flying vehicle. :o

I much prefer it over the new one myself. The new one reminds me of the Cloverfield creature with it's overly long front arms/legs.

I like it quite much actually. True, that hole in front does look odd and it would look better without it, but it looks interesting, not like a generic plane, but still not over-stylized like Burton's batwing.

Right next to riding grasshopper I take it? :woot:
