I was just wondering that in the beginning they show the past and show the transformers crashing and being scattered in all parts of earth. Where they stay dorment until the present. Well thats my theory.

I don't think so. It's an immediate invasion from what I gather from the trailers. They even see a pod crash and they show Shia and that hot chick looking at it.
