The best of the "worst"

Here's something i haven't seen a topic about(well, not really. not this specifically anyway). What's your favorite of the LESSER comic book films. I'm not talking about universally agreed upon as crap movies like Batman and Robin or dolph lundren's Punisher, i'm talking about the ones that are universally considered as "not awful. I like it even though no one else seems to". The Batman Forevers of the world if you will.

And before anyone *****es, I'm including Spider-man 3 based on it's incredibly high amount of negative reaction(at least compared to the first 2 films). Yes, I know it's doing tons at the box office but it easily fits into this grouping.

And yes, I realize there are many of you who thought Superman Returns and Hulk were of Batman Begins and Spider-man 2 quality BUT i'm just going for the general consensus based on various reviews, messageboards, etc. I've read over the years.

Hulk then SR, then SM3, then X3= those all had some good parts to them even though the films failed over-all.

Spider-Man 3 is better than anything else on that list by miles. Then comes X-Men: The Last Stand, followed by Superman Returns, then Fantastic Four, then Punisher.

This poll confuses me. If you mean what is the better movie on that list then I say Spider-Man 3, if you mean the worst on that list then I choose Punisher JUST edging out Hulk.

Not really. Those that you named are all agreed upon as crap. i'm not talking about the stuff that we all hate, i was only talking about the ones where there's more of a mixed negative vibe.

For those that were confused, I was trying to find out amongst those films which is the one you like the most that didn't have the best reaction in the world?

I also like the Hulk. I hope that the Incredible Hulk has more scenes similar to the rampage scene.

What? Are you kidding!? All of those movies you listed except for Batman Forever were awesome!

Except for the gay portrayal of the villains, Batman Forever was the most serious of those, Superman Returns next to it.

The whole movie was gay! The only thing gayer than Batman Forever, was Batman and Robin. How can anyone possible take Batman Forever seriously? It's like trying to take American Idol seriously. Gotham city looked like Rib Taylor was the mayor, The plot is just a mess, and most of the actors looked like they didn't want to be there. Occasionally you'll see a glimmer of story and drama in it (Bruce's flashbacks.) but it mostly remains buried under a moose carcass.

Again, easily Spiderman 3. I have no idea why its getting such a bad rap. Its the most like a spidey comic than the other 2.

I am ignoring Spider-Man 3 being on that list as to me it is the best Spidey film.

^^ Cosign, Im probably one of very few if any that liked the DareDevil movie that was a tie with HULK. I never read DD comics so that was tight seeing that. The Punisher was just GOD awful, I watched it many times & thoroughly to decipher it but in the end it was pure crap. On the Punisher, I remember him having lots of facial hair or at least a 5'oclock shadow.
