Probably the Terminator. It was his first really iconic creation. But really, everything he did was incredible.
Winston Studios does more than just practical effects. aside from effects, they also flesh out the creatures. Cameron probably had a good idea of what he wanted the Na'vi to look like, but Cameron's just one man. Winston Studios filled in the gaps that Cameron couldn't.
How about Thriller?
Stan WInston studio/Legacy effectsWinston had something to do with them? I thought he was the practical effects guy.![]()
20-30%% from the predator is also from Cameron.T-800 for me but it was actually James Cameron's design.
Stan Winston loved the pumpkinhead designe. i think it belongs on the pollWhy no Pumpkinhead? I love that movie.

Honestly though, it's a tie with Alien, Terminator, and Predator.

i wonder why it looked so alive? because of the texture? the dots? beacuse it looked wet? did they do any special tricks on the skin?Extremely tough, Winston had a track record like no other.
I'll have to go with the Predator. As much as I love all of his designs, the Predator looked so....real and organic. The alien skin didn't look like plastic, latex, or some type of half-assed design.
Not to mention he just looks ****ing cool, regardless.![]()
because its hes legacy.question, why has the name of his company been changed to Legacy Effects?
in an interview with G4 they said it was to "Honor Stan" but please explain to me how taking the mans name off of the company he built is an honor?
