Does Yankee Stadium do tours in the off season?

The only NY question I care about is...where's the best place to get pizza?

Well that really blows. Do they have security in the offseason?

Actually, not as much as you'd think. Speaking from experience, my friends and I have sneaked into Shea Stadium at the weee hours of the morning.

Only reason we didn't break into Yankee Stadium is cause its the Bronx, and we wanted to survive the night.

Hm, it might be worth the risk. Yankees,. Mets, :down.

haha no ****. i hate the mets. but we did get some cool stuff. then we burned it and made smores.

You should come during the summer to tour Yankee Stadium's Memorial Park and stay for a game. In 2009 this stadium will most likely be no more.

Really? God I hate when they do that. There are a lot of things wrong with baseball these days, but Yankee Stadium is one of the few things that are still right.

Oh, and here's why I hate shopping for sisters. "Get me something cute."

B**ches.

IIRC, both the Yankees & Mets are getting new stadiums.

Here's a gift for your sisters.

They already bought a small asian boy.

Actually, the Mets are getting a new stadium, but Shea is only 43 years old, they don't needs a new stadium.

And I agree, I don't want to see Yankee Stadium torn down. I have many fond memories from there, but the place is worn down and outdated. What the city plans to do is build a park around the facade of old Yankee Stadium, tearing down only the rehashed areas of the stadium. So it's not like the whole thing will be destroyed, just the newer portions. They will make the old portions of the stadium into a baseball park for the neighborhood, which is necessary since they are taking over McCooms Dam Park for the new stadium.

It's 18 here, no idea how low with the wind. But I almost died walking to the grocery store this morning.

i need to do some grocery shoppin. CVS blows for groceries though.

Tell me about it. They closed the grocery store across the street from me, so it's either walk far (or take a bus, which can be just as rough with the wait), or go to the CVS.

I wanted to get some whole wheat pasta for my spaghetti and CVS only has the regular kind..

guess they promote fatness.

All the stores within walking distance around here are at least 4 blocks away. And they all cost too much, and it's as cold as **** outside.

And I have no money to get food tomorrow on the way back from John Adams.

And there is nothing wrong with promoting fatness.

Anybody go to the comicon in the Javitts center, I heard it was way too crowded.
