Naked Cowboy works round the year.. even winter. God damn weirdo.

Yeah, he's mighty strange. He's got more job security than anyone in the country, though. :o

jag, who thinks the area over by the Gugenheim is infinitely more beautiful than Times Square...

you should see how protective he gets about his corner... I remember some street dancers tried to get on his turf and he got all psycho... :D

Punk ass.

The area where the Guggenheim is pretty nice.. it's right by the park.. it's a quiet area.

I guess it's all a matter of taste.. and in all fairness... TS can be a bit overwhelming if you're not used to it.

Picadilly Circus in England is a Times Square rip-off

This is lame but I still get overwhelmed when I drive through TS. Like you could just chill there and take it all in. Just the whole vibe of it, I cant explain. The only time I ever go is at night. Daytime, there isn't much excitement.

I guess cause I work a block down from all that chaos.... I'm just to jaded to enjoy it anymore... I walk down 42nd street so much i hardly notice what goes on around me.

I'm pissed they closed down the theater on 44th street though... My friends saw SM2 and ROTK in that theater...

http://www.thelmagazine.com/

anyone living in NYC should pick one of these up.. they're free and they list everything that's happening around the city.

They run every 2 Wednesdays all around NY. You can find them at the Virgin Megastore in TS or in one of their booths around.

It's a great pick up.... and I'm not saying that cause I'm a volunteer photographer for the mag either. :D

Why did they anyway?

Don't know... one day I was walking up to 8th avenue and I saw they tore it down.

Animals.

Don't you have to pay like 12 for a movie in the city?I'll pass.:o

I got some sad news from my mom this morning. Before spring semester, we're moving to the New Brunswick area in Jersey and I gotta transfer to Rutgers. Not only it's sad enough moving away from where I've grown all my life but farther away from my friends.

:(

I thought you lived on campus.Thats a suck.:(

I get the same way.:o

My twin goes to Stony Brook.
Times Square is nice from a distance but it's filled with mindless tourists who don't know where they're going.

I don't usually notice when I'm in Times Square. I just go and get my stuff done and move along, as if it were nothing. On most occassions I barely seem to focus on it when I'm there.

The only thing that I will occassionally stop for is to see if the advertisements and accompaning buildings are photogenic enough (and not too bright) for my camera. So far, that has only happened twice.

I hate it when they stand in the middle of the street to take a picture.

That's one thing I never do. I know how bad traffic can get in that area and don't want to make it any worse than it already is.

Was there really any other choice?

I didn't vote at all. One ******* or another? Some choice. Didn't help Bloomy any with me that Rudy was backin' him.

I went to Times Square, (as a tourist). It was great! I love NYC! (I wasn't a bad tourist, I promise) :batman::up:

I hate Times Square. Too many people in one place, makes it impossible to move around. I avoid it as much as possible.

Gain 200 pounds and look menacing and angry. It works for me. No one bothers me and moves out of my way everytime I go there.

Ferrer lost.... thank god.

Now I hope someone kicks his balls in when he walks the streets... Piece of $hit mutherf***er.

No thanks, I'll just keep avoidin' th' Square. I prefer downtown anyways.
