Gain 200 pounds and look menacing and angry. It works for me. No one bothers me and moves out of my way everytime I go there.

Sometimes Manhattan can be a lot of fun.

And I see you and Ferrer are on very good terms.

Manhattan is wayy fun.... when I was out the Saturday before Halloween.. it was crazy... it was just past midnight... the bars were all packed.. people were walking in costumes... then vomiting on the streets. Fighting. It was like Mardi Gras.

Oh and I hope someone punches Ferrer so hard he turns ****** so I won't have to endure another one of his failing bids for Mayor.. It's 3 losses in a row.. he ought to get the hint... No one likes him.. not even his own wife.

Don't you have to pay like 12 for a movie in the city?I'll pass.:o

10 bucks actually... but it's worth it if you have the money... they've renovated a lot of the theaters so at least you can see where those 10 bucks went.

it's the price of the food that kills me. I rememeber when I used to take my then GF out... I'd burn 20 bucks on snacks a night... and we probably went to the theater twice a week. :(

S'why I only see movies in Brooklyn. $5.50 fer matinees that last until 6PM. Can't beat that.

yeah.. there's this $hitty theater not too far from my apartment.. it's 5 bucks too on Saturdays..

the problem is I love the city and I spend most of my time here. It's too exhausting to go to Brooklyn then come back to the city. I'm not starving so I don't care paying the extra dollars.

Sigur Ros is playing the Garden next February... I might need to be getting me some tickets.. :D

to be honest... Rudy had his flaws... but he was the first to drop the crime rate significantly back in 1996 and it kept decreasing during his terms.

I mean if you compare him to Koch and Dinkins.. Rudy did a superb job as mayor... Bloomberg is doing alright I guess.. but since he started... I've noticed an increase in the homeless around the city... I remember back when Rudy was mayor I'd hardly see homeless sleeping on the subway or on the trains.. now it's more frequent.

true... at least they had a warm cell not a cold subway car. :(

well the one I was in back in October was warm. :D

Or the fact Pataki could make an awesome transexual..?

Everyone loves Rudy 'cause of 9/11. A good number of his detractors jumped on th' Rudy wagon after that 'cause he was so great in handlin' it. What th' hell was he gonna do? Go on vacation with his thumb up his ass? He's wasn't th' PRESIDENT, after all.

I hear what yer sayin', Retro. My gal currently lives 4 hours away an' we'd love to move somewhere together, but need money to start a life an' I doubt we could afford NY livin' any time soon. Binghamton is nice. It's like a small NYC; not too small to be a country town, but not too big to be crowded. It's just right.
