Well I'm back. What a crappy vacation.

I'm kidding, kind of. The goddamn irony in my vacation was ridiculous though. Hey, let's go to a city where everyone takes the subway to go anywhere, but go when that ONE single most important thing isn't active! Yaaay.

So I was able to do about 20% of the things I wanted to do, I guess that's why my trip to NYC wasn't completely horrible. Could have done so much more.

We walked from 8th and 45th to Canal st, which took a pretty long time, especially since I'm used to driving everywhere, stopped by the Empire State Building, did that thing, stopped by Forbidden Planet (awesome shop, too bad not as good as the comic shop down here), Other Music (probably my favorite part by far, bought 3 CDs I have only seen downloadable or on Amazon, rad store) and followed a couple chinese people, so my brother could buy his girlfriend like 5 purses. Ate in Little Italy, then walked back after Stomp. So the Lower East Side was easily my favorite place, such diversity and cool stuff all around.

Next day just walked around more, went to Carmines the last night, that was pretty good. Turned down like 25 rap album offers.

Oh, of course, went to see the Rockettes Christmas show, where I fell asleep, and the big ass tree.

All in all, like I said, decent trip, but I didn't get to go to any of the places I wanted to go, Stony Brook, Central Park, Brooklyn, the Financial Distritc, etc.

I took picture, but really don't see the point in posting them since, while new to me, you guys see like every day

LES is also my favorite spot in NYC. St. Marks, The Bowery, Houston, Soho, Noho. There's soooo much to see and sooooo many music venues at night.. particularly on Ludlow. And you should post your pic Ranger... even though I live here I'd still like to see the pics you took.

it was a bad weekend for NY.... on Saturday night Zab Judah lost his titles to some aging Argentinian... at the Garden no less.

And yesterday the Giants couldn't hang on to the ball for their mothers.

Anyway I still appreciate this season after having 10 combined the past two years.
