The Boondocks Thread

Ruckus is basically the Cartman of Boondocks as far as filling a similar role. Last nights ep was hilarious. One of Ruckus bros reminded me of Mr T.

Benjamin Button + Color Purple = hilarity. I love Ruckus centric episodes.

The other guy looked like Al Powell (Reginald VelJohnson) from Die Hard

Yeah, but I'm sure you didn't cry, may have had some reactions to allergies though.

I cant even laugh at old Ruckus jokes because every time I just:csad:

I was wondering who he was based on. I couldn't put my finger on it when watching the show, but you're right.

Turner Broadcast System owns both which is controlled by Time Warner.

Damn, hoping they would make it to the 20. Please don't let it end :csad:

Are TBS and CN still owned by the same people, cause Tyler Perry might try to flex his no talent two show having muscles

Tyler Perry wouldn't lift a finger to helps Boondocks, one, it's actually good, so Perry probably doesn't like it, two, they totally ripped him a new ********* this season.

I think he was implying that he'd try to keep it off the air.

Tyler Perry needs TBS more than they need him. Who else is going to pick up his shows? UPN is gone.

Sony owns the rights to Boondocks and produces the show, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim just simply airs it. And Lions Gate is the company that produces Tyler Perry's TV shows and movies, TBS just airs his TV shows

While Cartoon Network is owned by TBS, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I'll be kind of bummed if last night's episode was the last episode, but if it is, I'm happy with it as a finale.
