I've got one:

A set of three light switches are located in the first floor of a building. Only one of them turns on a light on the second floor. The other two switches do nothing. If you can only go up the stairs one time, and you can't see the second floor light from the first floor, how can you be sure which switch turns on the second floor light?

Start on the third floor, and go down the stairs, so when you get to the first floor, you only have to go up the one time.

Alright here's another one.

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!

Its tricky unless you've heard/read it before. :woot:
Ummm,...There's no "e's"!

No, because then you still had to go up the stairs initially in order to start on the second floor.

Yup. :woot:

The letter "e", which is the most common letter in the English language, does not appear once in the long paragraph.

I think's just the one with the light switch.

For those of you that have had your riddles answered, it may be easier to edit the original post to make sure it's known that those riddles have been answered.

Good idea. I'll do that and put the answer in there.

For the lights, you could flip two swtiches, and if they do nothing, you know which lights, and if the light goes on, it is one of the two switches.

But that only works in one scenario.

Aye, that's the rub. Think outside the box, in another dimension. I'll wait another few minutes.

A woman arrives home one evening after work. She enters her apartment building and goes right to the elevators. Her husband at that time is at home on the tenth floor. She pushes the button, and suddenly realizes her husband is dead. How does she know?

the switches that dont work have tape on them or something
