You turn on one of the light switches for like, an hour or something and you turn it off and turn on another one. If you go on the 2nd floor, if the lights aren't on yet, you should be able to tell if the first switch worked if the light is still warm. The lights will be off and not warm if it's the last one.

A bird watcher by day and museum watcher at night, Joe is sent to jail when one of his guarding artifacts go missing. The owner of the museum was furious. The reporters found it funny and a crazy man, obsessed with patterns, watched as Joe was being taken away. It is a shiny necklace that had gone missing. A jeweler down the street watched with thoughtfully. A butcher down the road was laughing at Joe. Joe was not the culprit but he know who it was. The culprit attacked him and took the necklace. When his Lawyer showed up, Joe's throat was so cut up he couldn't talk. He sat across from his lawyer with a pen and pencil and wrote down the culprit. 7MO. Who did it?

Riddle #15:

You're in a room filled with sacks. As many sacks as you like. Each sack is filled with the same number of coins. As many coins as you like. In one sack the coins are made of solid gold. All the other sacks are filled with coins made of another metal that looks and acts just like gold.

The gold and metal coins look exactly the same and all the coins are the exact same size. The only difference is that gold and metal coins don't weigh the same.

There is a penny scale in the room, but you only have one penny. How do you find the bag with the gold coins?

Answered: Take one coin from the first sack, two from the second, three from the third, ... , then weigh them. The difference between what they should weigh and what they do weigh tells you which bag holds the real coins.

So, if you have five bags, you'll have 1+2+3+4+5=15 coins. And you know how much these coins should weigh if they were all fake (let's say fake coins weigh 1 gram, gold coins weigh 1.1 grams).

Fifteen coins should weigh 15 grams. But if the scale says 15.3 grams, you know the third bag has the real gold because you took 3 coins from it, each coin weighing and extra .1 grams, for a total of .3 extra grams.

Riddle 16
One morning as Paul was getting his newspaper, he noticed on his new house something that needed to be fixed. Heading over to the hardware store, he spoke to the manager, describing his problem. The manager said, "I know just what you need". He led Paul down some aisles and stopped in front of some bins. Digging down into some of the bins, he set something up on the shelf. "I saw your house when it was built", the manager said. "Here's all that you'll need and how much it'll cost... five will be 15 cents while fifty will be 30 cents, 250 will be 45 cents, while 2507 will only cost you 60 cents. One lady, about 20 blocks from your house, bought 30247 and only paid 75 cents! These are black, but they also come in gold and silver." What was the manager selling?

Btw.....no one got the husband dead riddle yet?......I knew this since middle school.....

You're in a room filled with sacks. As many sacks as you like. Each sack is filled with the same number of coins. As many coins as you like. In one sack the coins are made of solid gold. All the other sacks are filled with coins made of lead.

The gold and lead coins look exactly the same and all the coins are the exact same size. The only difference is that gold and lead coins don't weigh the same.

There is a penny scale in the room, but you only have one penny. How do you find the bag with the gold coins?

You just want the sack of gold? You said as many sacks as we like?

Wild guess, for sure wrong. LOL :woot:

Am I determining the amount of coins in each bag? Or is it a fixed amount.
