Riddle # 72:
Besides the mathematics, how can the following statement be true?
Eleven plus two = Twelve plus one
same number of letters in each
What?Add a two in place of the second one in eleven and add a one in place of the two in twelve![]()
they're anograms of each other
I think tha'ts the word
Exactly. They're anagrams. The fact the math works as well is a freaky coincidence.
Here's one that's a little abstract.
ONe day before going into work, a lady decided to go and buy some new shoes. she went into a shoe store and picked up some high heels that she liked. she liked them so much that she ended up wearing them into work. Later that day, the lady died.
What was her profession and ultimately how did she die?
Here is one:
A father and son have an accident on the highway. The father expires and the son gets transported to the hospital but the attending surgeon sees him and says I can not operate on him, he is my son. How can that be?
If you have seen this before do not answer.
That was too easy..."One Word"
Move an, "O," in front of the, "ne," and move the, "d," to the end of the, "wor."
Yep. I remember it from The Cosby Show. Clair gets mad at Cliff for not even thinking of it.The surgeon's the mother![]()
I think I remember this from an episode of All in the Family
