this ones totally annoying even after looking up what lapidarian means.

Since lapidarian can involve stone etching, I wonder if it's The Ten Commandments.

I'll give a hint on the second one: it's almost a word-for-word adaptation of the original title.

And I think I messed up with "lapidarian". "igneous", "sedimentary", or "metamorphic" might have worked better.

Well all the names are short for something or have a shorter version so maybe the answer is fridge/refridgerator ...That doesn't make much sense but thats the only thing I can think of and I am dying to know the answer
