it might bring some people who watch it joy?

The first Butterfly Effect was a very good film. But this sequel is further proof that Hollywood is out of ideas.

Has anyone seen the Directors Cut of the Butterfly Effect? Damn, that is some depressing **** and the ending on the Directors Cut makes me glad that they used the Theatrical Version instead.

But either way this sequel is pointless.

I was told the other ending where he
kills himself while he is in his mum still
.

But we don't need another one I liked the first but this might spoile it.

I liked the first film, I see no reason for a sequel, however.

You are correct about the Directors Cut ending. It's a very sad and depressing to the point that you feel ****ty afterwards.

Very glad they didn't use that ending for the Theatrical run. It's still a great film and I enjoy it a lot.

Well, I hated the first one (not to mention anything with the name Ashton Kutcher on it), so this one must be even worse.

I actually really liked the ending of the Director's Cut in that it was different. Depressing, yes. But, it was also a gutsy move of an ending.

The sequel, what do you expect? It's direct to DVD fast cash. Never seeing it, just another direct to DVD sequel.

If you ask me, the theatrical ending left me twice as depressed, and I thought it was just better all around. In the director's cut, he kills himself. Big deal. In the theatrical version, he has to live his whole life, knowing that he can never go near the woman he loves with all his heart. I just think that's so much more tragic.

But I digress, this DTV sequel is completely pointless. Hollwood once again reaching for the almighty dollar.

You mean you actually had high expectations for it?

Erica Durance ended up leaving the Stern show crying today when she tried to promote it and got asked about her nude parties.

The first one was pretty good, but is one of those movies to just see one time. Once you know what happens the fun is spoiled. A sequel is completely reduntant crap and pointless to say the least.

Poor girl. She shouldn't have went on the show since she had to have known they were going to ask about that.

That's always how I felt. Then, in the director's cut, there's all this footage of Kayleigh's "happy life" now that Evan's never been born.

The thing I liked about the original ending is, we DON'T know how her life's been. There's even a question of whether or not he even knows who she is, and even if he somehow remembers her, all he remembers is the different ways her life has been because of him. Some of those lives were happy, some where absolute s**t. I think it was more meaningful that he saw her, and realized he had to let her go.

The butterfly effect 2 was an absolutely awful film.

Even Erica Durance can't make me see this pile of dog ****
