That filling is a load of sugary syrup. Today I had a piece of two-layered cake; the layers were separated by some cheesecake. Now look: you've got chocolate in the cake and icing (antioxidants), eggs, (healthy fat and protein), cheesecake (lots of fat to kickstart your metabolism, but also some protein and milk). The perfect healthfood to jumpstart your metabolism or weightloss if you've plateaued.

I really love those Pepperidge Farms freezer cakes that you have to thaw out. The frosting is light and fluffy plus eating a slice is not like shoving a mouthful of sugar in your mouth.

On the subject of cake, my mom bought these cupcakes that were tasty for sure, but it was iced with this whipped Peanut Butter frosting in an unfortunate shape which made us think of nice, wet piles of poo. We still have a chuckle whenever we eat them.
