The Casey Anthony Murder Trial

So logic of the evidence doesn't matter? Casey was the last one with her, her car had the smell of a dead body, she was partying and stealing from her friends while Caylee was dead laying in the woods (missing for over a month), she didn't report the child missing until her mom tracked her down and forced her to, she lied and pointed the blame to several people making it almost impossible for the cops to find Caylee up until the day of the trial where she then "admits" that Caylee drowned not because of anything she did but because of her mom leaving the ladder up and of course her dad (a former cop) finding her and then hid the body by first leaving her in Casey's car until the smell became to bad to then throwing her in the woods a few blocks from their home while Casey just sat and watched and then went out to party all month long, but your right she shouldn't have been found guilty of anything since the evidence clearly shows she isn't connected in any way. Again I'm amazed they can get a jury to find anyone guilty of killing someone.

1. How do you know Casey was the last one with her? What is your proof, what is your evidence?

2. How do you know that Caylee was laying in the woods during those 31 days she was partying?

3. All the partying proves is that she is a *****, and shows no remorse...remorse for what? What is the proof that she killed her daughter?

4. Where did I say that the evidence did not connect her? Please show me that...

5. As far as the odor in the car....all the police had to do was take some of the blow flies, larva that were present in the trunk, and had they been analyzed they could have very easily shown DNA of a human, possibly Caylee.....but that was not done.

6. The police were told about the body in the woods in MONTHS EARLIER, had they gone and checked AT THAT TIME, more evidence would have been found....but that was not done.

7. The prosecutor's office over charged....and shot themselves in the foot before they even started.

I believe that every juror probably thinks she is guilty of murder, or covering an accident, etc.....BUT...the evidence was not there to prove that....and since it was not there, they have to find her not guilty. Maybe we should do like Ireland does and say..."not proven" rather than "not guilty" maybe people would understand the process better.

I'm not quite sure why you're not understanding this Darth. Like it or not, the defense team is in a level of public trust. Are they elected officials? No, but that does not change the fact that they are supposed to behave in a certain way. Recording a crowd, flipping them off, high-fiving, and cheering like a bunch of teenagers is not appropriate.

If you think that type of behavior is acceptable for someone in a position like that well...we're going to have to agree to disagree and move on.

Again, I don't know what you guys don't understand about recording a crowd not being wrong. Like, that seems like a stretch guys.

Flipping them off? Ok, I can give you that at the same time I'm sure the crowd outside wasn't just waving hello.

Cheering like teenagers? Go for it, they WON THE CASE, IT'S THEIR JOB! I mean, why can't you guys understand that? It's completely appropriate. They're celebrating, you don't like it, move along. I mean you would think they were toasting to more dead babies by the way you guys put it. They were in a restaurant in a private party, it's not their problem if people can't mind their own business.

I don't know that they were acting appropriate....I don't think what they did was appropriate....but I don't think that everyone should be up in arms about it. They are *******s, they have been *******s from day one. This is just par for the course.

You slow on the draw sentinel....already posted...

I guess you missed my post earlier about my experience in various murder cases (among others).

I am not saying the defense should not have celebrated their victory. I have never said that. PLEASE read what I wrote about ways that they could have had their celebration which would not have appeared so classless.

Please.

Expecting for posters to actually read your posts and comment factually on them is a fruitless endeavor.....this is the net, if someone senses in any way that you have an opinion that differs from thiers...all your posts from then on are outrageous falsehoods and don't need to be carefully read ever again.

I dont know if you have me on ignore, but you havent answered my questions about how I distorted reality.

Also, I said this on the last page as well. No matter what the crowd is doing, the attorneys are professional lawyers. They do not have to return the obscenities and such. If they had simply walked away, it really could have shown that they had some class and could rise above the angry mob's shouts.

Exactly C.

Well it's true. :o

My problem with the uproar is if the roles were reversed, if she was found guilty and the prosecutors were the ones at the restaurant, there would be a line of folks trying to buy them a drink. There would be high fiving and jubilation in the streets. No one would be like "We have to remember a child is dead", people would be releasing doves after each count was read. I just hate hypocrisy.

Apparently so. :cwink:

I know you're a mod but this is a dumb post. I just missed his post.

Like I said, I missed your post. You guys are distorting reality because you guys are outraged over the defense team celebrating because it seems like to me, you guys are equating their celebration to them being ok with a little girl being murdered. Which is not the case. Lawyers have to separate their own personal feelings from the case, as hard as it maybe. To them, it's just another case they have to win.

That's quite a leap. Doves? Really?

I dont disagree that there would be some celebrating going on, probably a lot like you described, if she was found guilty of murder. No doubt. (If the prosecuter went nearby for his celebration drink/dinner, that is).

You should probably go back through and read what was actually said before you start accusing people of distorting reality Darth. What has been said, and continues to be said is that their actions were inappropriate for a professional lawyer. No one ever said that their celebrations equaled being ok with a child's murder.

Not to sound like an ******* but what do you think I've been doing?

Guess what Darthypoo....my post was a comment on the post that mrvlknight21 was making to ANOTHER POSTER THAT WASN'T YOU!!!!!

I wasn't talking about you...I wasn't referring to you....I wasn't hinting about you....I wasn't thinking about you. If you spent less time trying to attack every darn thing me or any other mod says about any situation, you would have more time to finish that expose ripping Mother Teresa a new one.

Please go back and read the post of mine that you quoted when you said that I was distorting reality. I NEVER, ever, equated their celebration to them being ok with Caylee's death.
I felt they could have done the celebration privately (first and foremost) to avoid giving the wrong impression. That was my first and main point. If they had done that, all of this could have been avoided (unless Nancy Grace snuck into the private celebration and filmed it, of course :cwink:).

I know all about separating personal feelings from the case work. I stated that earlier thoroughly (or so I thought). I also stated in that same post that I have always attempted to maintain respect and professionalism for all parties involved. That is the way that I think law professionals should behave (particularly in and around the courthouse).

See what Nancy Grace is doing to us....

Look, never call me Darthypoo again!

And actually the post was directed at me, read the facts old man!:cmad:
