the Casey Jones thread - Jason Vorhees ain't got s*** on CJ

I feel like a lot of people are looking for the next Elias Koteas instead of the next Casey Jones. Isn't Jones usually depicted closer in age to the Turtles (late teens-early 20s)? I could be wrong though.

I believe he's usually depicted in his 20s. And Casey was originally a lot darker in the comics, even more violent than Raph. So although Koteas portrayed an excellent Casey Jones, he would've done a lot more damage to his victims.

Yea I think I prefer him being more like Raph though. Roguishly charming instead of darkly brooding.

Wow. I can totally see this guy portraying Casey Jones. He's got that cocky, smug smile that screams Casey, and has already proven he can do dark and action. And I can see him opposite Fox, even though he is 36. Christ, I would've never guessed! Well, if Andrew Garfield can still play a high school kid, I'm sure Witwer can pull off late 20s. And maybe I'm a bit biased, but I can't help but compare potential CJ actors to Elias Koteas. He was the only actor to play a live-action Jones and dammit he did it so well. Witwer even resembles a younger Kotias. Bring it on!
