Sorry. What i meant to say is if they want the symbiote to return for a future film they will have a scene where they show it going somwhere. Then show the prison scene. It's not a cliffhanger but it is a plot to have a future spidey film. As far as a cliffhanger goes in this movie. Not a chance.

That's actually a pretty sweet idea. They dont' actually have to do carnage any time soon, but that would be really cool see brock being thrown in jail, then a man in a dark corner says "The names Kletus/Kassidy" then all you see is his creepy smile or somethin

But why not. they can keep him there for a period of time. It's not like they are going to bring him out in the next flim. They can wait untill spider-man 9 for all i care. Just show a scene and there you go.

well, for starters, carnage isn't going to be in a "future" spidey film. you can bet on that. after venom, if there are even anymore spidey movies, they're not gonna feature a villian so similar to venom. and they're not gonna feature venom again, either.

and that scene wouldn't mean anything to most audiences. though most spidey fans know of carnage/kletus, these movies are not made for only the fans. if they had an ending in a jail cell with eddie and kletus, and kletus introduces himself and smiles, most people would be like...WTF? what does that mean? who's that guy?

it's just unnecessary.

Alright, honestly, who are these people who think Raimi is so stupid that Venom will only be around for 10 minutes and defeated within that time? I don't understand this logic, there isn't any. Venom is a perfect lead on villain into the 4th movie, he is the complete antithesis of Spider-man in every way, perfect foil. As a villain he was always my favorite, not just because he looked cool but because he was a villain who was sadistic in his goals, he didn't just want to kill Spider-man. He wanted to make him suffer, to toy with him, beat him to the brink of near death and leave him there to recouperate and then come back and do it again. Personally I think when he shows up he'll do something like kill Mary Jane, making him the object of Peter's fears, and hatred. Even if Raimi doesn't like the character, he isn't going to **** up his own movie by having such a short fight at the end and be like, "ok that character is over and done with". That's not the way he works, especially with a character as popular as Venom.

if i were directing sm3 this is what i would do.


towards the end of the movie we see venom jumping on top of buildings with spidey chasing him, as venom goes to jump a huge gap the symbiote released itself off of brock, and brock falls to his death. and spiderman hovers over brocks body and spiderman leans over in dispare.

than it pans out and we see the small symbiote slithering off into the city streets following some guy who is known as Angelo Fortunato. Angelo walks into his appartmeant and his neighbours are greeting him, (hello Angelo) as he is about to step in the syboite crawls in next to him, and is hiding in the shadows. as anhelo is about to go off to bed the sumbiote attacks him, the lights go out and the screen starts to darken, than we here a sinister laugh, and the movie is over. followed by the credits.

say hello to angelo venom II, the new villan of spiderman 4!
