The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Doc Ock in TASM2

Imagine the CGI to pull of the Vulture... Cray.

Cray Cray is correct sir, I honestly had no idea that they would be using Vulture, but I'm glad they're hinting at him finally.

Shouldn't the tentacles be a Doc Ok invention though?

We will see. At other hand Falcon will be in CA:TWS so i can't wait how will CGI look on him. It could give Webb and Sony idea for sequel how to make justice of Vulture without fricking up things like Goby.

For Doc Ock, yes they are his invention to execute multiple jobs at once in Oscorp (i think that was original idea when he created them).

I doubt ock will be the leader of this sinister six as much as a supporting player.

I'll be very disappointed if he's not the leader. He's the founder and leader of the Six in the comics.

yeah, but Sony as Hollywood is not always faithful to comic-book material, as EVER! :cwink: So it would be huge suprise if they get something right! :woot:

Pretty obvious that changes will be made where they see fit in CBMs.

What's more important is whether or not the changes work in telling a story that's good. Not complaining that they're not faithful to le sauce materyal, which is what I see more often on here.

Really? I mean, idk... look at Falcon in Cap 2, won't be dissimilar to that really. I'd say the hardest character to do is probably Electro, especially when there's so much going on with him even when he's stood still (the electricity pulsing and coursing under his skin).

Doesn't anyone else think that guy is walking in a prison and those are the criminal's belongings.Maybe the Vulture was a hired thug from Osborn to kill the Parkers on the airplane.

The new Ock needs to wear his pimp suit!!!

OMG, yes, this makes more and more sense.

Yes, it could be any doctor, but, why have Electro specificaly say "Doc"?

And it would make a lot of sense to have Electro's testing lead to an accident that causes the bionic limbs being grafted.

Novak is famous enough to be a key role like this too...

And he could pull off the look!
Why? because it is a common nickname.

Ock wasn't referred to as Doc Ock before the accident so I doubt it is him.

The 616 comics, you mean. It's Norman in Ultimate. It's the Gentleman/Gustav Fiers in the Sinister Six novel trilogy. I'd be just fine with any of them founding and/or leading the Sinister Six.

Ultimate, shmultimate. Dr. Otto Octavius is the only leader of the Sinister Six in my eyes.

Unless it's Norman as Goblin, I am in full agreement. And I am VERY partial to the idea of an Ultimate look for this new Dock Ock.

Oh golly god, look what I did there. :p

If Green Goblin is the main villain of this trilogy then Doc Ock should be the main villain in the next.

Posted this in another thread. You guys are welcome to share your thoughts. *shrugs*

Doc Ock's tentacles originally being meant for military things like bomb diffusion, recon(slipping the tentacles into a building full of terrorists and secretly seeing what's going on using built-in cameras), would make it interesting. That would also give the goggles/shades he wears over his eyes a purpose, being able to see what the built-in cameras see.
