Here's what I wanna do.....I wanna buy me another Neca Hannibal Lectre figure........and a DCD Alex Ross Justice Joker figure.

And put that Joker Head onto the Hannibal body......Creepy Styles.

Some of the customs/repaints I've been working on:

First, Luke Cage:
Need to finish his wrist tape, pants, and boots. May add a logo or something on him. And my damn camera doesn't know what to zoom in on.

Second, Batman Beyond, Saint style.
I need to finish some details on his gloves and boots. I also have to finish his belt. The insignia needs some work.

Second, the Marvel Zombie, more zombie like.
Need to redo his pants to look like denim, dry brush his skin with some other colors, add some gore. Eyebrows, too.

And last, the one that I'm having to put the most work into because I had some paint flake off, Hawkeye. He's obviously a simple repaint of stealth wolverine. The mask isn't accurate at all. But, I like it so far. Lots of paint work to do on this one. Don't even ask why certain things are the way they are.

The girlfriend is on the phone. There's really only one that I'm proud of and all I did was repaint his pants from black to denim. They're already flaking though.

Damn, that sucks. I painted the trunks of an extra DA Benjamin I have (for an Elijah Burke custom) and once it was dry I moved his legs and the inside caused some scraps on the ball hips. I even sanded the damn area and all. I was pretty peeved. I gotta figure out how to make the paint more durable for play/posing.

gotta uses some of Jin's methods for protecting against paint rub. I also gotta use some sort of sealer/clear coat. Going to investigate that later this week if I can or when I get back from FL.

WTF was I thinking. All this time and I forget to go and check Jin's site. I am an ass. Thanks for the reminder Santo.

As for the customs I'm digging what'll eventually be Hawkeye. Keeping the head doesn't look bad at all to me considering its gonna be your version of a character.

I say start over. Its either that or get to sanding because those flaked spots will show.

I think my first mistake was doing the priming in white and not black. I don't have black primer right now, gotta go get some.

I think thats my mistake too. I only have 2 really thin coats on so I'm gonna sand that s*** off and throw on a dark primer.

I like the solid black w/ red symbol look of the original personally. I say thow a darker wash and define the symbol some more. But thats just moi.

I wanted to give it the impression that he was black with a glowing red essence. Kinda make it look like he would be a red apparition/ghost/demon sort of thing. I was thinking it'd be freaky to have a shadow moving at me with the outline of red bat demon thing.

With that desription I see what you mean now. Hmm, I can see what you were going for. I think if toned down a tad and a with a defined symbol it'll still be better though.

I wanted the symbol to be faded in. I didn't want any definition. I looked at the figure and was like "wow, he needs to be camoflaged into the dark. Having a defined symbol wouldn't play with my superstitions. A vague one that seems to be slightly visible in the darkness would freak me out".

Prolly easier to describe then show.
