Not surprised at the negative revirews. The book was mediocre. Robert Langdon is probably the most boring, uninteresting character I have ever read about. I can't help wonder why Brown did bother to write a fictional novel to present the ideas about Jesus getting married and all that stuff.

I thought Robert was a very interesting character in "Angels and Demons".

I'm not shocked by the negative reviews either. Most critics or people who aren't familiar with the book won't understand obviously; however, those who appreciate thought provoking material and so forth will like it I think.

Critics seem to be all about thought provoking material. Maybe they didn't feel the movie was thought provoking enough and was just an average Hollywood thriller.

This is BS. Yesterday it was at 20%, and now it's at 0%? Why'd they take off the positive reviews? Did the church command the critics to pan it so that no one will go see it? (crazy theory but you never know).
