Yeah, after Quint dropped the ball TWICE over those fan manips, Harry's kept a tight reign on TDK news. He wouldnt push something unless it was VERY solid in his mind.
Miranda already was saying HP5 was the shoe in for the trailer. And this description seems like something they would have had time to throw together easily.

I'll only say this, remember guys how many BS teaser descriptions we got for BB. I think a teaser would have some actual footage in it, but even if it didn't I will still take this with a pile of salt.

Keep in mind that AICN may post a lot of BS, but they had pretty spot on descriptions of the BB and Spider-Man 2 teaser trailers.

that description of a trailer sounds like something that be used for Dueces Wild or smoking aces.(both terrible films)
i say the trailer we'll be the heist footage from chicago and will try to fool the audience as a " HEAT" type movie. i bet we will even get a glimpse of the joker if or when his mask comes off in the bank. thats when we'll no its The dark knight and just not some Point break sequel

But I gotta say one thing, the one thing that makes me think there could be some legitimacy to this report is exactly that it doesn´t sound particularly exciting: fake trailer descriptions are usually loaded with mentions of action scenes and iconic comic book images - yeah, even the ones for teasers...

Hmmm....we have all seen these things before.....and usually they turn into pure Bull crap!

Now I can see the teaser coming with Potter 5.....but will it actually be what this guy described?? Highly doubt it.....

They've still got atleast another solid month and a half of filming before even thinking about editing together footage for a quick teaser...I doubt we'll get a teaser as short as the one described, but I'm sure that those are ideas being played around with until real footage is cut together. I'm sure after reviewing the dailies, WB execs and others involved will agree on certain things thus far, that they'll want to show. HP's release date is perfectly timed in the same month as Comic Con, which will be a perfect one-two punch to actually show something good, to both movie audiences and a major event like SDCCI.

Really, this would make sense from what we know so far,....I would guess there will be a tiny bit of footage. Maybe the cards falling with the Joker talking,....then the Bat-symbol on fire.....then maybe you see the city of Gotham burning behind the symbol and then Joker laughter.
That would be fine by me,.....lets remeber the general public has no clue another Batman is coming, this would be enough to stir intrest.

It could possibly add creedance to my theaory that the release of the Joker on Gotham was Ras Aguls back-up plan to destroying the city. The Scarecrow was a bigger pawn than he knew. I hope we see Ras return eventually and have him and bats go at it and then have the Joker come back adn screw Ras for making him a pawn and the Bat gets them both....my dream anyway...

As much as I would like to see ra's back in the future it won't happen. He's more dead than venom, no human could have survived that train wreck. In Nolan's "realistic" universe there's no place for the lazarus pit or anything similar.

I dont recall any "false" Batman Begins teaser descriptions..... from what I remember, the one we heard about ended up being the one we saw, except that there were supposed to be footage of Batman.... not still pictures (seriously what the ****? production shots in a teaser!?!?!?).
