The Goon leans forward lifting his mask.

Fitchner's eyes go wide.

BANG! - Cut to black.

The Joker's laugh.

Harvey Dent stands at a podium surrounded by Rachel Dawes, Lt. Gordan and other officers.

Dent: Starting tonight, I promise an 18 month crime free
wave of Gotham City. I'm a man of my word folks.

Rachel and Dent sit in the DA Office.

Rachel: Things are done different in this city. Theres a lot of gray.
Dent: There's good guys and bad guys. Can't be both.

INT. Maroni's Restaurant

Maroni: This guy looks like he'll be trouble. All these freaks running around and our own kind won't give us a break.
Goon: So what do we do?

Maroni Voice Over: Fight fire with fire.
A purple figure enters the restaurant with a large brimmed hat blocking his face.

Action Montage: Explosions of the hospital and power plant. The Joker walks down the street firing the machine gun, laughing. The Scarecrow gases a man. A gun battle breaks out between two gangs.

Dent and Gordon in Gordon's Office.
Dent: What have I done? How do I fix this Jim?
Gordon: Come with me.

The rooftop door swings open. Fade out.
A lever is pulled. Fade out.
Dent and Gordon look up into the sky. Fade out.

Dent Voice Over: (in awe) You've got to be kidding me.

Fade in.
Dent and Gordon stand on the Police HQ Rooftop. The bottom of a cape billows in the wind in front of the camera.

Close up of Batman.

Batman: I'm on it.

The batmobile roars through the streets. The Joker drives his semi truck laughing maniaclly. Explosions rock the street. Cars swerve. Batman pummells Joker in an interrogation room.

The police stand line at a funeral. Rack Focus down a line of police men. One of them has a cut smile.

The Joker Voice Over: Ok! Ok! I admit it!

The Joker runs on stage and shoots Commissioner Loeb.

Slow Motion - Loeb falls to the ground dead. Gordon, Dent and Rachel watch in horror.

Police Interrogation Room - The Joker rolls over on the ground and looks up at Batman. Beaten. Bloody. Broken.

The Joker: I shot the sheriff. But I did not shoot the deputy. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Pissed Batman pulls back a punch from Downtown and lays it into the Joker.

Cut to Black.

The Joker's Laughing continues. Now more crazy than ever.

Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your *******. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

Wouldn't mind just seeing a cliff hangar scene from the movie as the trailer. Cut it down to like 2-3 mins and catch the audience attention without giving anything away.

Something like a Bruce Wayne scene or the Bank Scene.

End it in a way that people will know that it is TDK though.

i wouldnt mind just a black screen for 30 seconds with the jokers laugh coming from all different angles of the theater, and different speakers and such. then we fade sloowly into a hanging gently swinging batman (makes everyone think in the theater its the real batman) and move closer in on it, and onto the card stabbed to his chest...people trying to figure out what it says and read the card as it draaws closer, then a sudden brust of hysterical laughter and a flash of the jokers face. something like that would be pretty cool to me, even though its more of a teaser... maybe have it at the end of the trailer

Here's an emaginary trailer of mine. I’d be lying if I said that this was something I wrote very quickly (in order to soften the criticism, should you all think it blows!). And please don’t hesitate to tell me, if it does, because I honestly can’t judge it my self. The dialogue is VERY emaginative. Dont have that much official to go on yet. But I tried to keep it real. Here goes!

Fade in:
Camera flying over Gotham.

Voice Over, Bruce: "You ones told me I was getting lost inside this monster of mine"

-We see from inside a truck, as two hysterical men argue from the back.

"Did we lose him!?"
"I aint waiting around to find out” Yells to driver in front: “STEP ON IT!"

VO, Bruce: "I also remember telling you that it wasn't about thrill-seeking"

-Suddently, a sharp claw-like blade rips through the side of the truck! One of the men (wearing funny Joker-masks) fire up his machine gun putting holes in the truck!

VO, Bruce: "It's not... The thrills are just a bonus"

-Batman jumps down landing in front of the windshield of the truck going at high speed!
-Batman taking on 5 guys at a mall, breaking bones!
-The tumbler/batmobile seen driving down an open street, with police assistance and S.W.A.T teams following behind!
-Batman flying over a rising bridge on his batpod!

The WB. and DC logo comes up.

-Rachel beeing escorted into the batcave by Alfred, as Bruce is looking through files on his computer(s). She looks around spotting a new suit beeing held inside a chamber, rising from the floor. In the back is a huge assembly of new gadgets beeing held in some sort of lit-up display, on the wall. The batpod right next to the tumbler is in the middle of the cave.

Rachel: "I see you've gone high-tech"

-Batman in full speed on his batpod, through a slim alley firing machine guns coming out from the sides of the motorcycle!
-Batman fighting off dogs, eventually beeing zapped by a stream of current going through Batman's suit!
-Batman running from a rooftop, jumping off, falling with style (due to his cape), landing on a smaller building's rooftop, as he continues to run and again jumps off soaring down to the streets below. (He's clearly getting the hang of it!)

-Rachel & Harvey Dent eating dinner at a restaurant, as Bruce walks in smiling.

Rachel: “Bruce, this is Harvey Dent. Harvey, meet Bruce Wayne”
Dent smiling to Bruce: “Ah yes, the prince of Gotham. Nice to finally meet you in person. Rachel’s told me all about you”
Bruce: “Hmm, I truely hope not”, he says smiling superficial, looking at Rachel.
Bruce to Dent: “So, have you made it to district attorney yet? How’s the campaign going?”
Dent: “It’s going. To tell you the truth, right now, it feels like murder”

-Cut to a knife stabbing an ‘I believe in Harvey Dent’ flier, right in the face!

VO, Joker: “Starting tonight, people will die!”

Bruce to Rachel: “Something bad is about to go down. I can fight it, but not with you stuck in the middle. You have to leave, tonight”
Rachel: “What if I promise you not to get involved”
Bruce: “You already are…”

-We see Rachel beeing pushed up against a wall, by the Joker.

Joker: “You look so sad dearest. Mind if I carve a smile on that pretty face of yours!”

- The Joker laughs psychotic and draws a knife, holding it against Rachel’s cheek, hard. Rachel screams!

-Batman is seen walking in to a police station, and every one looking simply stands aside, letting him pass. He walks directly in to an interrogation room where the Joker sits smiling like a true devil!

Joker: “If it isn’t my favourite little roddent”

-The Joker isn’t given a chance to say another word, before Batman picks him up from his chair and knees him in the groin, hard! He throws him over a table!
The Joker spits up blood all over the white floor, smiring it across his face with his one hand, as he wipes it off. He looks up on Batman, smiling through his bloody teeth, laughing quitely.

Batman: “Spill it!”
Joker looks down on the bloody floor: “I thought I just did”.
Batman: “You have something major going down; now are you going to tell me, or do I have to beat it out of you!”
Joker: “Riddle me this: Red cross, equals bomb....I’d say you have about 15 minutes!”

-Batman slowly takes a few steps back, (obviously realising what he’s talking about) and then storms out of the room!

Joker: “Don’t trip in your cape!”, continues to laugh hysterical and unstoppable!

Intense epic choir-like music explodes in the background as we are presented to a montage of action shots!

-Batman running on police-cars!
-Batman in full pursuit in his tumbler, driving through walls of fire!
-Buildings and ships blowing up!
-Bruce kissing Rachel in batcave.
-Bruce Wayne (Not in suit!) fighting hood-covered men in the streets!
-Batman beeing held by Joker’s henchmen, as the Joker him self kicks batman repeatedly & violently!

Alfred and Bruce standing in the mantion. Alfred puts a comforting hand on the shoulder of an angry, yet sad looking Bruce, saying: “You hammered them. And in their desperation they turned to a man they didn’t fully understand”

-Joker looking evil as ever while strangling one of his own damn men!

-We see a bank robbery in progress. The bank manager tries to be a hero, saying: “Every one, just do what they demand. The money’s insured, it’s not worth dying for”.
The Joker takes a gun, going in for a point blank on the bank manager’s head, saying: “True. But I’ll kill ya anyway!”. He shoots the man right in the head! Hostages scream!
-Screen fades to black!

VO, Alfred: “Some men just wanna watch the world burn”

-Cut to the Joker standing in the middle of the street firing a machine gun at hundreds of innocent people, laughing uncontrollably! The camera pulls out and up, soon to reveal Gotham city literally beeing on fire!

Screen goes black, and the bat-logo fades in.
Simple white text fades upon it and reads:

Cut to: A Political Dinner party. The Banner “ Adrian Fields For D.A” hangs behind a mousy looking candidate in a tux- this is Adrian Fields.

Fields: Gotham has been taken from us, for years it has been in the pockets of the insane and corrupt.

Cut to phone:

Voice: You wouldn’t believe what I keep in my pockets…

: The Sound of a switchblade is heard

Cut to Party:

Fields: This city belongs to you, to me, to our children!

Cut to Phone:

Voice: This city belongs to me, myself and I!

I'd want to see something that would tie into the viral marketing.

Like it's presented as an "I Believe in Harvey Dent" campaign video telling you to elect Harvey for District Attorney and then it's interrupted by a shadow shrouded Joker...

Something like that would be awesome BC John Q. Public would be like "What the hell is this?" but as soon as it says the name Harvey Dent all of the fans would know it and be like "HELL F**KING YEAH!!!"

Nothing says 'bad ass trailer' like belittling the general audience who won't know what the hell they're seeing until it's spelled out for them at the end with a bat symbol or something...
