Superman Returns The DC Logo.

And Marvel is copying DC for making movies out of their characters...:o

That is true.....Notice for one. Peter Parker goes down the street and rips his shirt open. Seems like he is copying Superman to me. But I like them both. They both have the right to show the characters in their logos. If you think DC is copying Marvel, you have to say that Marvel is copying DC. First DC was the first to have the first movie from their comics. They had their own cartoon first two. I can go on and on. So Marvel copy DC first way before DC copy Marvel.
Personally the logo is great and so is Marvel. They both have the right to do their own logo regardless what the fans of both companies think. They are the ones who making the money on that and not you.

they all copy off of each other... because all the characters have logos on their chests!!! why do so many people like to post bull **** posts and defend it like its the most important thing. Either talk intelligently about something or stop wasting your life about a stupid logo.

One person expresses an opinion about a logo and the next thing we know people are arguing over who's copying who and defending it as if they themselves had been insulted.

But remember this Superman was the first big hit to have a symbol on his chest. So that means every superhero after him copyed him by having some type of symbol on their chest.

When i first saw the DC intro during BB, the first thing i realised was how similair it was to marvels. Also speaking of SR using superman images in their intro ( which was really cool ), Fantastic 4 did a similair thing in their marvel intro.

BTW, i have no problem with marvel or DC copying each other.

Exactly so

Dc only recently decided to put the logo at the beginning of their films. First time i saw it was Batman Begins and that in a way alerted me to the fact that dc was attempting a serious comeback to compete with marvel and wanted bragging rights. I like them both though.

Same here. Some folks dont see the similarities with spiderman and superman but theyre there and theres plenty. Spiderman was marvels way of trying to replace superman as a more relatable new school hero i think.

Thick Glasses nerdy type
second film he attempts a normal life
third film he goes bad
He works at a newspaper company with a demanding boss
red and blue suit
Uncle dies in 1 and mentors him

"Youre not superman you know."

Did you guys know Jim Lee did the art for both intros?

I asked him about it at last years SDCC 05', he told me that the WB asked him to make some art for BB and SR intros. Also he told me the art he send in for both movies were much longer and he felt WB cut out too much in the BB intro' but like how they turned out.

btw: I loved those intros.

you're right, he should take his clothes off in an orderly manner and fold them up neatly so as people like you wont think he copying little superman. You're right, he shouldnt feel a sense of urgency if theres a fire and people would die... if he ripped his shirt off, well that'd be copying superman damn it!

I don't mean that Peter Parker shouldn't ripped out his shirt. I am cool with that but Superman was the first to do that. All superheroes are copying Superman that are part of DC and Marvel. You will see a small bit of Superman in each one of them. Batman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, Hulk, FF4, and so on. They all copy Superman in their own way.
XCharlieX the comment of yours "Spiderman was marvels way of trying to replace superman as a more relatable new school hero i think." That maybe true but you can't top Superman at all. Yes, Marvel has several great superheroes but you can't compare any of them to Superman. Spiderman is only human and can be defeated but Superman would be harder since he isn't human. But I do think Spiderman is Marvel greatest hero as Superman is DC. But Superman stands beyond any of the superheroes to date. Superman is doing something right for having comics for 68 years. He is the same age as my dad but Superman is a few months older.
