The DCEU needs another team

By another team...the DCEU could use another team besides the Justice League similar in the vein of the Guardians of the Galaxy (Marvel) so by teams here are my suggestions that could be a good fit in the DCEU are:

- Green Lantern Corps
- The Omega Men
- Doom Patrol
- Teen Titans

They tapped Gunn to co-write Suicide Squad 2, so I think they've got that base covered.

We've already got this on the small screen - and it seems to be working quite well. I'd rather see them try something different for the DCEU. The Lantern Corps would be where I'd put an investment, but that hasn't exactly gained ground since forever.

The Lantern Corps makes sense since they are based in space much like the Guardians are

I honestly wonder if Captain Marvel is going to kill the chance of ever seeing Green Lantern on film again. I mean, I don't know much about her but just by watching the trailer, her story is VERY similar to Hal Jordan's.

there are some key differences.
The kree are space imperialists instead of cops and carol danvers will flip sides like mar-vell did in the comics most likely.

My favorite DC team that wasn't JL was the Outsiders ( original line up, Geo Force, Katana , Halo, Black Lightning, Metamorpho, Looker ).

They had a nice family vibe without bring pretentious.

Would love to see them live action.

Even though I think they'd work better as an animated film, The Metal Men would be a good option.

The Terrifics would be an option as well even though they're fairly new.

Given Green Lantern's popularity, WB will revisit Green Lantern at some point either as a solo movie or the Corps.

No chance. The Lantern Corps are too big an element to not do something with (eventually) and whilst Hal's story may be similar to Carol's, WB/DC don't need to tell a Hal origin story; instead they can promote Hal as the veteran that Batman is/was in BvS & JL and focus the film on John & Jessica.

I think there is definitely 'room' or appetite for the JL Dark film still.

Teen Titans, Suicide Squad and to a lesser extent JL Dark seem to be the teams DC are high on ATM, given how much these teams (or individual characters strongly associated with these teams) are being used in adaptions (animated shows & movies, live-action shows & movies and video-games).
