Iron Spider suit

Hated the costume at first but it really grew on me. Im sad that its gone bc I kinda prefer it right now to the classic red/blue

^You never know hoe useful something is until you lose it.

I liked it from the get go...it looked cool...not black suit or ben reily as spider-man (not scarlet spider) cool, but still very cool :o

The Iron Spider suit is the only one I use in MuA once I unlocked it. It was the costume I was anticipating the most

I used the Scarlet Spider Costume, I used the Beta Ray Bill costume for Thor, I used WW Cap, Ult Ironman, Daredevil Yellow.

I liked the costume, I thought it was a good blend of iron man and spidey, the extra arms were interesting, and it was cool to see him go in a different direction for a while, but as usual whenever they change a character's costume, I'm always glad to see them go back to the original. I think without the change I don't appriciate the original as much.

The costume was fine. It was the extra gadgets that came with it. Spiderman doesn't need powers if you're going to make him an Iron Man who can't fly. I think that's what really bugged alot of people. He was just another Iron Man. The colour scheme was kinda' an annoying reminder of that too, although it did look sharp.

It would have been better to stick to more standard Spidey colours like Red and Black, I think, but the costume design was sweet. The solid colours instead of the webbings was a nice touch. It's less complicated and it's a more subtle looking costume and it pulls off a little bit better a tone.

I just don't think it suited Spidey. Not at this time anyway. If Spidey'd gotten his butt whooped by a Super villain, and he needed some kinda' help, then Stark giving him the suit is a lot more justified then "Here's a costume Pete!" :whatever:

Except the 3 mechanical arms...WHY NOT 4? c'mon, spider 8 limbs not 7? hello? Someone was asleep at the wheel.:whatever:

What the hell do you think War Machine is? He's another IronMan
What the hell do you think USAgent is? He's another Captain America

Peter barely ever used his gadgets anyway, so whats the big deal, it was mainly there as a plot devise, so Tony could moniter and study Peter, it served it purpose, now it's gone, and unlike the Black costume I doubt Peter will ever wear it again.

I had a toy of that when I was little.
My favorite Spider-Man toy, ever.

I thought that the costume looked pretty cool.

The appearence of the suit itself I didn't mind and in the context of the story it made sense. But some of the extra powers were really dumb.

I agree that three arms is stupid. It should have been four. Maybe tony stark was the kind of kid who liked to pull legs off spiders and watch them try to walk around

What's your point? I didn't like either character all that much and I was happy to see the originals come back. I don't want two of every super hero running around. It's just annoying and let's Marvel start another series just to make money and screw up continuity with crap. I don't like Iron Spidey because I don't like turning an original character into a copy of another character, especially if both are cool.

This is the only costume that I could see becoming permanent over the OG costume, wel actually if they mixed this one with the OG one. Basically just keep the OG one but add the big spider over the chest, the half webbed boots look kinda stupid, same with the fingers.

That's what I'm saying. The suit looks pretty good. ONe or two things I'd change, but if they left it, I'd be fine. it's the gadgets and everything that go along with it. THOSE suck. It's not Spiderman. Bulletproof suit I can live with. But the other crap (even the arms a bit) are kinda...well, like you said, dumb.

The Black costume does come and go. I haven't seen this one since Ben died, and I don't see it coming back. Even if just the big spider. That's a cool idea, but it's still "Ben Reilly: Spiderman" not Pete. That costume belongs to a different character, clone or not, and I don't see writer's doing it.

It's just, I don't know, sacred...you don't steal a your dead "brother"'s costume and use it, it's disrespectful. Let him lay at rest.

He was not a copy of Iron Man at all, what just because he wore similar colors, and had a few gadgets. He didn't have half the **** Iron Man has, and he couldn't do half the **** Iron Man can do. War Machine is much more of a copy than Iron Spidey, he looks almost exactly like IronMan, just Black and Grey.:whatever:

I didn't say he didn't ever use his gadgets, dont twist my words to try and prove a point I said he barely used his gadgets.:whatever: Of course he's gonna use his gadgets in Civil War, thats why and when he started wearing the costume in the first place. So yea he barely ever used any of his gadgets besides the Spider-Arms, he never really used anything else.:o

Yea I feel you on that, but sometimes it's not disrespectful to sport a dead persons gear, sometimes it would be seen as a sign of respect. I know people hate how nobody stays dead anymore but, I really hope Ben Reily comes back one day.

i love the clone spiderman suit. but as an artist, I have to say. It is a pain to draw. Its as bad if not worse that the good ol fashioned one. If I worked for Marvel I would have taken him back to the black costume too. For no other reason but to give the artists a break

Thats partly why they made the Iron Spidey suit look the way it did, to give artists a break from drawing hundreds of webs.

the extra arms on the iron suit kind of reminded me of doc ock at first.

I hate to admit it, but I liked the Iron Spidey costume (minus the extra legs)--- and for some odd reason liked the footies.
