I will most likely get Youth in Revolt and Skaar but I'm debating on continuing those due to the summer double shipping of books. I may drop them and pick them up when things calm down around September (I'm hoping). We'll see though. As for Deadman and the Flying Graysons I'm just very curious about this tie-in. I figure I'll skim it to see if I'm interested.

Other than that, with the exception of Avengers, it's a very X-Men week, and with how they've been lately that's a great thing! I'm expecting Avengers to suck though, so maybe going in with low expectations will help it out, but judging by the first part of the tie-in I'm not going to get much enjoyment out of it.

Got to love how Marvel is selling that ALPHA FLIGHT mini at $4 an issue. Isn't the best way to sell a mini about a C-List franchise to make it as expensive as possible? Penny wise, meet pound foolish. This is nuts considering Marvel was wise enough to try selling POWER MAN & IRON FIST for $3 a pop.

This is a bigger week than June 8th, but still smaller than some of the wallet-busters of May, April, and June 1st. In fact, it is still a smaller week than my new "average" of about 6-8 books. However, this merely makes the cynic in me dread a "wallet buster" that may be coming. Few months have balanced content.

It's no rumor. DC and Gail Simone have been stating that Barbara was going to become Batgirl again for the past week. Quite a few websites have had stories about the reaction of Barb walking again and ditching being Oracle, from NEWSARAMA to The Beat. It's barely in "unkept secret" territory.

Not even. DC's released official solicitations and cover images depicting Babs as Batgirl in Batgirl. Simone's even gone as far as saying she'll try to use Steph and Cass in Babs' series if nothing else is done with them.

I figured it wasn't just a rumor; but, since I heard it at my comic shop, I didn't want to straight out say it was true. Too often, I've gotten some bad information there ... so, I was covering my butt. Plus, I was simply too lazy to hunt down a thread or article about it.
