Mission Impossible 4? What does that have to do with anything?

we're talking about how some people would like Ruben Fleischer to direct The Flash.

I mentioned that he was courted to do Mission Impossible 4, along with a comedy 30 MINUTES OR LESS, so it depends on his schedule and just plain luck. From what the article linked below, most likely he has turned down MI 4.

I find it hard to believe that these projects would be troublesome considering where the Flash is pre-production wise

i do hope this time flash will get to production stage. unlike last few yrs we just heard oh this director on few months later that director gone.

Totally off topic but I have to get it off my chest. Anyone besides me think "The King of Cool" Steve McQueen resembles Barry?

I think that Berlanti could definitely do a good job directing The Flash. As far as who should play the character, I still think that Jake Gyllenhaal would be so amazing as Flash/Wally.

as much as I like Jake, I don't think he has the charisma of a Wally or even Barry. time will tell when Prince of Persia comes out.

If they are going older Barry (which I would rather they do) that would be fantastic.

it would. luckily he looks pretty damn young for being 41.

while i don't care actors who jump ship, or playing different comic book characers for different companies (Ryan Reynolds), if Sam survives in Iron Man 2, would that play a factor for him being in something like The Flash?

hopefully we will know soon enough if greg is indeed going to take the reigns for flash and its actually happening. As for the film itself, i still think they will go with barry being the flash and be his origin. since its nice and easy origin to go with. Cause if you skip out on barry and go straight to wally you lose out on all the barry stuff, or we end up getting what the flash tv show did or jl/jlu and merging barry/wally together. which i would hate to see happen.
